LOL, how about CJ for a 3rd round pick?

That can't be! I thought he was gonna get us a star that goes next to Dame and save the day!

His contract sucks. Not surprising teams view him as a negative asset.

Way different style of play. Dame takes more pounding on his body. Steph is more finesse and plays a lot better off ball

Plus Lillard lays at all out there on the defensive end. Which is taxing on the body

Voted for Ja and Steph for All-Star this year. First time not voting for Dame since he is hurt this year.

I’m watching this Celtics and Knicks game on TNT. Looks like a packed house and doesn’t look like very many people wearing a mask. The people that are aren’t even wearing them right.

Have read several reports that Omicron is so contagious, masks do extremely little to slow it down. Thankfully, for the vast majority, the symptoms seem fairly mild. Many people that find out they are positive, are completely asymptomatic and only got a test to to someone else who was positive that was in proximity.

Maybe this will help the herd immunity because more and more of my friends who have both shots + the booster are testing positive.

Actually I read that cloth masks are ineffective but n95/kn95 are, fwiw

Yeah there's a big probably unavoidable problem because some of those people are vaccinated and some of them aren't, statistically most aren't likely boosted. So if they get sick, they'll just be spreading to others who will get sick. Most of these people will be fine but a large enough amount of them won't to completely overrun the hospitals. So people will die of COVID and of other ilnesses not because they couldn't have survived these sicknesses with hospitalization but because they won't be able to get into hospitals. From what I've read there isn't even a shortage of ventilators this time around it's a shortage of room and medical professionals to treat them by just being able to keep an eye on them to make sure they aren't about to die. It will probably be a month long clusterfuck where way more people die than should have but hey, welcome to the last two years.

The good news is that scientists are saying that Omicron is so virulent that we might just reach heard immunity and get a big break in which 1000+ people a day aren't all dying from the same singular virus between February and next winter. Then next winter after having been around the world and mutated again to the point that previous infection and vaccination doesn't leave you very protected, we'll get another month or two of a lot of people being sick and dying. They're saying that it will become endemic like the flu but the flu already stretches our healthcare system pretty thin every winter so I'd have to think that this would compound that problem.

Basketball point is, sports events will be huge super spreaders for Omicron because that shit will even spread like a wildfire in outdoor gatherings. So, I'm not on one side of this or another. Most scientists think this is going to happen no matter what and we just have to live with it. Sporting events will just be like when every kid in a family would get chicken pox only a lot deadlier.

Yes, but you don't see many people in the 95 masks. And the 95 masks must be worn properly which the few people you do see with them, many fail misreably.

I having a vision of the
Las Vegas Jail Blazers (awesome name)
Striped uniforms, get a goodfella from
New Jersey to call the game on radio
his line would be "Strip City!"

Gives you chills right?

I may be a resident of Vegas by that time. Colors changed to Scarlett, Black and Silver.

T-Mobile Arena on the strip in Vegas is an AMAZING brand new arena. WHy would they build another one?

Congratulations to Josh Giddey on being the NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month!

Some of his passes you don’t really appreciate until you see the best angle. He passes it before his teammate is even there. They’ve learnt pretty quickly to always cut to the hoop when Josh has the ball.

If Seattle and Vegas get expansion teams then New Orleans and Memphis need to become eastern conference teams...save one hell of a lot of travel
Math doesn’t work that way. If two teams join west, there are 17 teams in west and 15 east so only ONE team needs to move east to make it 16 and 16.

Then the Grizz should move to Seattle....New Orleans to Vegas and the expansion teams to the east......my point is no western conf teams should be in the eastern US

Yes but you can’t send two teams east if there are two extra teams in west.
