Why is it “nothing against you KingSpeed” It SHOULD be against him. He’s the one polluting this site with this horseshit.

It would make you happy though as a Laker fan if Jrue were traded there.

green font?

We do not allow permanently banned members to change their names and return. Any claim to the contrary is incorrect.

ATL's JJ with another triple double tonite.

Stat chasing. Triple doubles mean shit!

I’d like to see ATL shake things up in the east. This is the year where they maybe can get to the second round if they make a move at the deadline. With Trae they are playing worse. Go figure.

Yeah, I think he's gone

I wouldn't mind seeing both converted to standard deals, have liked what I've seen of both. I'd be happy dumping Reath for one of them, maybe a trade to clear a spot for the other?

16 Blazer games between now and the trade deadline

assuming Cissoko played in every game his deadline would be on the back-2-back games Feb 11-12. If the Blazers could actually get some guys back like Jrue and Grant, both Cissoko and Love might have their deadlines extended by DNP-CD's, but it seems a stretch to be able to keep them as 2-way contracts with 47 games remaining

just a note: Love will be UFA in July while Cissoko will be RFA. I'm not sure if that makes Love a higher priority for decision or not

Reath is the easy slot to create. Personally, I think he's a better player than Yang but Portland's F.O. is obviously invested in Yang. Blazers are 1.5M below the tax line so waiving Reath then signing one of Love/Cissoko to a pro-rated minimum contract should keep Portland below the tax line. It might be real tight if they waived, for instance, Reath & Rupert and signed both 2-way players to minimum deals. But I'm betting Portland won't cut ties with Rupert yet

trades? well, the salaries of both Timelord and Thybulle would fit into a full MLE. I don't know if any teams that might be interested in either player has a MLE available. I have a hard time seeing any team interested in Thybulle after all the games he's missed that last 2 seasons. Timelord may generate some interest simply because he's been showing as an effective 20 min/game backup; but he's such an injury magnet, maybe not. I have a hard time seeing the Blazers willing to re-sign either player this summer.

Jrue and/or Grant? their contracts haven't changed and neither is playing right now. I don't have any optimism they'd generate much trade interest, And, I think the Blazers are still committed to trying to make the playoffs. Cronin hasn't made any significant deadline deals since the Hart & Payton trades in 2023

I have talked about this many times; it's not that I mind, but I will go to the effort to explain everything, and then in 6 months I'll have to do it again.

For reasons that I'm not going to go into because it would literally take days to explain it all...

I permanently banned Orion Bailey.

This was not an easy decision; it never is.

In talking with some longtime members who reached out in private and to the rest of the staff, I reached a decision based on the following:

OB is a passionate Blazer fan. He's also been a passionate member of this forum. He's gone to multiple forum events, supported our 3 on 3 team, he's hosted events for forum members at his home, he's a season ticket holder, he's given away tickets, he's even given away some of the items in his Blazer swag collection.

On the Blazer side of things, he's the type of member you want in a forum.

On the other side of things, namely the OT section, there was just too much baggage associated with the Orion Bailey moniker and it needed to stay dead.

So I made the person behind the moniker an offer to come back.

He can make a new moniker to come back, get a fresh start, and stay out of the OT section.

I strongly suggested he not tell anyone he's back under a new moniker, but he decided to ignore that, lol. And, sure, there's been a few bumps in the road, but for the most part it's working. He makes sure we have a prediction thread before he game. Heck, he even recently won cookies from Crndc.

So yes, OB was permanently banned. The person behind the moniker was not.

This forum will always work with Blazer fans.

Thanks for explaining. That was a special case. What, I was getting at was outside of that, permanently banned members have not been allowed back. Several have tried to come back with new monikers. We have caught them and banned their new monikers. Though that might not be 100% full proof, we certainly don't allow them back if we discover them. Even if we don't get them one way, they usually reveal themselves by another.

I was just poking fun. I mean what does a dog need $100 for other than flea medicine?
