MPJ will be a big move at the deadline. Guy is just lights out. Not convinced DEN should have dealt him.
I can't imagine that we have anything BRK would want for him, but I would not be opposed to us making a move for him. Could definitely see him and Deni pairing well together. Would also immediately be our best non-center rebounder, which we could certainly use.

We have a LOT they would want. We’re just not interested in trading them

Bucher just saying shit to try and stay relevant. Folks can hate Trae Young all they want, but that trade was awful.

Right now we are going thru the Kris Murray “thing”…… I’d take CJ in a heartbeat.
There is no way in hell CJ is available as a vet min guy. He will get a 3 years $45m-$50m from someone for sure, and he is worth it. A respected vet, professional that can still drop 50 in a game every once in a while. The Wizards had to get rid of him - they were winning too much with him - and they can sit TY as he has some kind of a leg injury. (They want to protect their top-8 protected pick this year)

If you have a chance at getting CJ at anything less than the $15m/year - you jump on that. He is not good enough to be your #2 guy for a team that has multiple defensive players they have to play (like the Blazers did when he was here), but as a $15m vet for a team that has lots of defensive players (like the Hawks are going to be after this trade) - he would be great. I would be shocked if he is not extended at Atlanta.

I wonder if CJ wants to come back. We have a shit ton of guards, and he spent enough years playing second fiddle to Dame. I bet the Clippers would be interested. Nuggets, too. Or: the Celtics could offer to swap Anfernee for him!
