of those 6 players, Sharpe is the least efficient (between he and Daniels but Daniels doesn't chuck), the most prone to chucking, and by far the worst defender. Offensive efficiency and defense may be the two least likely things a 23 year old player with 4 seasons experience can improve.

There's no reason why the guy is getting DNPs left and right. Shows me this is personal from Steve Kerr. I hope the guy gets free and is able to prosper outside of the Warriors organization.

I agree. It's insane. He's too good to not be playing, especially for a team that can often use a youthful spark off the bench. Even though I think he should be starting.

But maybe there is some behind the scenes stuff we dont know about? Maybe he's lazy at practice etc?

JK's TS% this year, just to put it in perspective, is lower than Kris Murray's, and Kris is actually a positive on defense.

If you look at WS/48, he is lower than Rayan Rupert this year.

The only way J/K is somewhat usable (at least on offense, never on defense) is if you put the ball in his hands and let him shoot like crazy. If you need to put him in a team concept where he is a secondary or lower on the pecking order, he is pretty dismal - which is crazy when you get to play off the gravitational pull of a guy like Curry.

He seems like such an overrated guy... - The Warriors effed up with his draft - Franz Wagon, Sengun, Trey Murphey, Herb Jones were all available. For all the success the Warriors had - drafting was not their forte after the Curry / Klay / Draymond trio (James Wiseman, anyone?).

Only thing he does at a decent rate is rebound. That's it. Who wants to pay $25m/year for a decent rebounder who is bad on offense and defense and can not play in a team concept?

That guy is the kind of guy that does not work in a team concept as a secondary or lower player on the pecking order. He is a minus defender. Why would the Blazers want him? If I am the Bl.azers and they know they will not be able to retain RW3 / 'Tisse going forward, I might do one of them if the Warriors are willing to add draft capital to get out of his salary going forward, but otherwise? Yikes.

He had a fucking amazing rookie year (didn't the Cavs have 3 rookies on the all-rookie team that year?) and then it all went south. By the time the Clippers got him ("Hollywood Ron") he was already breaking down with injuries. Remember when the Bulls got him after Jordan retired and Jackson thought he was so bad he started Pete Myers instead? Then Harper reinvented himself as a lockdown defender with no knees.

Maybe reading a basic sheet of paper would help. The Warriors net rating is 9 points better with him off the court than on. It's really not that hard to understand that. Sometimes, being a retired NBA player does not make you able properly analyze the situation. Maybe JK will be worth his salary on a team that does not run the kind of system that optimizes Curry, but it is very clear that if you have to choose if you want to optimize your system to Curry or to JK, you choose Curry every day of the week.

It's funny remembering how many here didn't want Anthony Black in an Anfernee trade. Black might be the Magic's best player this season. We would have loved to get this guy back for Anfernee.

He doesn’t have 4 seasons of experience yet. He’s also not 23. He is top 15 in steals though with the potential to lead the league. I wouldn’t call him a chucker. We need him to look to score. He never goes outside of himself. His scoring goes up as his minutes go down. He’s significantly improved each year. And yes, a 22 year old can improve efficiency and defense. Look how much Jokic continues to improve at an older age.
