I honestly don't remember this commercial but it's AWESOME!

So Bucks are tanking now? Seems like a big miscalculation to spread Dame $110 million contract until 2030 - while we own their picks! That will be a $22 million cap hit in 2030.

The Bridges talk is tempting but I REALLY want to see what happens if we just hold onto those picks. Could be like OKC getting Jalen Williams and Chet, or the Celtics getting Tatum and Brown.

Also why I'm rooting for us to make the playoffs this year - it would guarantee we get the 2028 swap from Milwaukee.

Giannis' outlook in Milwaukee

Regardless of whether the Milwaukee Bucks trade Giannis Antetokounmpo or keep him past next week's trade deadline, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said Milwaukee's focus for the remainder of the season should be on improving their draft positioning. The Bucks will have the worse of their pick and the New Orleans Pelicans' pick in June's draft.

"Forget about this season for the Bucks," Windhorst said. "The tank is now on the table for them, and the tank plus Giannis is what they're looking at."

* In 2024-25, the average pace was around 99.0 and 12 players averaged 36 minutes or more; no player averaged more than 36.7 minutes

* in 1995-96, average pace was 92.3; but 41 players averaged 36+ minutes; 31 players average 36.7+ minutes; and 6 averaged 40+ minutes

* in 1985-86, average pace was 102.6; 14 players averaged 36+ minutes; 8 averaged more than 36.7 minutes

* in 1976-77 (Blazers Win!), average pace was 107.2; 14 players averaged 36+minutes; 12 averaged 36.7+; 4 averaged 40+

I think Lebron is full of shit. I've seen this recency bias before and personally, I think it's nonsense. The 80's had higher pace than the last 5 seasons. The year Portland won the championship the slowest paced team had a pace of 100.0 compared. Only 4 teams last season had a pace that was higher than the slowest paced team in 76-77

it's not pace that's causing the problems, I'm not sure what it is but the first place I'd look is at all these designer sneakers and the arch supports

I think the game and style is just way different than the past. Pace generically might be higher, but running in essentially a straight line back and forth, versus the cuts, jumps and stops the guys do now is much easier on the body.

I don’t think there is a question that the players today are in better condition and are strung way tighter. Heck Jordan's dunk contest dunk from the free throw line was spectacular in its day but now probably 10-15 guys in the league could do that and maybe more.

I have this dreaded feeling we are going to involve ourselves because we have the Milwaukie picks and we are going to overpay for a player that doesn't make us a contender.

All I can do is hope for the best but these Bridges talks have me bracing for the worst.

On the other hand if we are the team that trades for Giannis while keeping Deni and Dame, I'll be doing backflips and probably will tear a knee.

So Siddy only has 7 games left before some decisions need to be made.

It's not a big deal. We have 3 games before the trade deadline and I think at that point decisions will be made. I'm hopeful that we're able to get a couple of 2 for 1 trades done at the deadline that open up spots for both Sidy and Caleb.

It's the year 2026, and we still got guys trying to mock other guys by calling them female, essentially? Really?
Only thing lower than a woman is a female body part.

Far be it from @THE HCP to try to stir things up for no reason at all……. But look who I just saw in the lobby hallway by the elevators. Look closely! Like why is he here if something wasn’t about to go down 👀
