Jahlil Okafor.
That was pathetic. Harden-esque

Jahlil Okafor.
I think 2012/13 Heat were pretty filthy too. A lot better defensively. Is this the best/most talented NBA team Lebron has ever played with?
Jahlil Okafor.
Holy shit, other than in an all star game or from a star player with 5 fouls, that may be the worst effort I have ever seen from a center on a smaller guard around the basket. Twice in the same possession! And that was in the first quarter before the game was out of reach.
I can see now why there were not a lot of offers for him. Thank god Denver came through with the better offer.
Because they have a balanced roster. None of their players, Jokic aside, are great but nearly all of them are decent/good. That's much better than having two very good players and a bunch of very average ones.Damn why is Denver good? That's crazy who would have thought before the season started the Denver Nuggets would be better than us
Jahlil Okafor.
With Embiid out for the season and Noel traded, the starting center job in PHI is Okafor's by default - and it shows. No effort required, none exerted.

That was laugh out loud awesome!
Unless Embiid can get, and stay, healthy, they may regret trading Noel instead of Okafor. I'm not a big fan of +/- stats (too many variables), but if the sample size is big enough, they start to become meaningful. For the season, PHI is +4.2 points/48 when Embiid is on the floor. When Okafor is on the court, they are -15 points/48. That's nearly a 20 point per game swing between those two players who play the same position.

Yogi Ferrell:
vs. Blazers: 9-11 = 82.%
vs. Everyone else in 16-17: 17-53 = 32.1%
:sigh
2nd worst. Isaiah Thomas is pretty well understood to be the worst defensive player in the league.Again when he plays us look whose guarding him. I'll give you a clue his initials are DL
There's a reason why our starting PG is by far the worst starting defender in the whole league

On one hand I was going to say maybe Okafor's value was low but the remembered they got Justin Anderson plus a top-18 protected Dallas pick which is not much at all. Is this true that the protection on that Dallas pick says that if it is top 18 this year, Phila get 2017 and 2018 secound rounders? That is horrible value if true.
Trust the process...........................Yes, that's correct (according to Zach Lowe). So, they basically traded Nerlens Noel for two 2nd round picks.

Don't confuse the process with the poor draft picks. Hinke got fired, so the Noel trade is not part of that process.Trust the process...........................

The only sense I can make out of them moving Noel instead of Okafor is health...they may not trust his knees...he's been really injury proneIf anything, Bryan Colangelo is proving even more incompetent than Sam Hinkie. He completely devalued both Noel and Okafor by shopping them starting in June. Then he basically kept Noel off the court for nearly the first two months of the season as punishment for calling the situation "silly", further decreasing his value. Now, instead of having a logjam three deep at center, they have a disgruntled, unmotivated Jahlil Okafor.
He completely mishandled the situation and even though he wasn't the one who drafted Okafor, he overvalued him as he was still treating him like he was worth a high lottery pick simply because that's where he'd been drafted. The bizarre thing is, that if ANY of the rumors were true, he turned down more for Okafor than what he got for Noel. I know Noel is an expiring, but they held his Bird Rights and were so far under the salary floor, they could have easily re-signed him. And, he's the better player.
