Harden is surrounded by nothing but above average shooters, and they added Lou Williams, another guy that can create on his own while harden sits. Houston will be dangerous in the playoffs.

The Pringles Man ain't never done shit in the playoffs.

Always disliked Chris haynes

Seems an article about nothing. For one thing OKC sent a memo and held a press conference not 24 hours after KD left. If the warriors organization really let this get to them they are just showing exactly like last years "we are light years ahead of other organizations" that they think way to highly of themselves.

Yeah. They come across as whiny *butthurt snowflakes.

* stealing the Trumptard lexicon for this. And it makes a lot of sense in this context.

Wow Denver gives up a layup with 2.4 seconds left and are down by 1

AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Nuggets just tried to run a Stotts special to Plumlee at the end and it failed miserably. Mase was probably like "Coach that play sucks, lets try this one I've seen tape of it winning tons of games"

And so we're tied with the Nuggets in the loss column.
And we have the tiebreaker. Next up for Nuggets: at home against Cleveland and on road in Indiana. Next up for Blazers: Bucks and Knicks at home.

Well Cleveland hasn't been playing good but hopefully there on against Denver.

Lol Nugs let Jameer Nelson take the last shot, and he obliges with an airball, that leads to Harden getting a game winning fastbreak layup.

Ridiculous coaching

Damn Harden put the knife in and twisted it. Thanks bud.

Don't want to jinx but Denver could easily lose their next four while we could def win our next four if we're sharp.

Is the second tie breaker division record?

Yes, division record is the second tie breaker. I covered that in detail in the Playoff Odds thread this morning:

The second tie breaker is division record. Our division record is currently 7-3 with 6 games to go. If we lose all 6, we finish with a 7-9 division record. DEN's current division record is 5-8 with 3 games to go. If they win all three, they will finish with an 8-8 division record. It's highly doubtful we lose all six remaining division games (MIN, DEN, @MIN, @UTA, MIN, UTA) and also highly doubtful DEN wins all three (@POR, OKC and @OKC), but that's the only way they win the second tie breaker.

Of course, since we are up 2-1 in the first tie breaker (head to head record) with one game left, there is no way DEN can win that one.

Honestly, congrats to Denver and to Portland. Both teams are playing really well right now. If both play this well next year, it'll be a great season for both.

That helps us but it is a stupid rule if true. The 2nd tie breaker should be based on the conference record not the division. What if you are in different divisions? I could see it for the division title, but not for a playoff birth in the conference.

It only applies if they are in the same division.... which of course both Denver & Portland are
