No, don't say dumb things. They are all 4 games back of us. Please don't continue your stupid argument that ties don't occur.

TECHNICALLY the Clippers are in 8th but they've played two less games but since you can't have less games at the end of the season that means they are all tied. This isn't even debatable.
Clippers have higher percentage. They are 8th. Period.

They will 100% resign Cousins if he agrees to it. You don't let a player like him leave.

Mirotic can play at the 3 or be the backup at 4 still playing 25-30 minutes a night (Davis moving to 5 when Cousins is off).

One of the most fun to watch teams right now. Rondo has been ace, ditto Holiday.
Pelicans are better without Cousins. Not worth the money.

I agree, they are beer w/o him.
I feel bad for Davis as he seems to be hurt a lot every year. I think you could say the guy is injury prone....

Fun fact: I don't know for sure if our bench is Really Good in an overall sense, but they might be really good.

Our two best five-man lineups are the two bench + one starter lineups: Zach, Patty, Ed, Dame-or-CJ, Evan-or-Bazz. These lineups are +31.4 points per 100 possessions (Dame/Turner) and +26.1 (CJ/Bazz) per 100 possessions. Surprisingly, the ET version of the starting lineup is a respectable +9.7 (5th best 5-man lineup), while the Harkless variant is only +1.6.

Our best pairings: CJ and Bazz (+9.1), The Hardhat Bros Zach and Ed (+9.0), Patty and Ed (+7.5), Aminu and Nurk (+6.4).

Our only bad pairings: Dame and Harkless (-0.2), Evan and Nurk (-0.7) CJ and People Who Need to Have the Ball Passed to Them (CJ + Turner = -1.4; CJ + Harkless = -1.5).

Also, CJ and Bazz need a pair nickname.

Once again, Technically if the playoffs ended today the Clippers would get the 8th seed but that is impossible because they've played less games.

Question: How many games are the Blazers ahead of Denver, LAC, and Utah respectively?

From the 538 Podcast:
Emanuel Mudiay (traded to Knicks recently from DEN) is a -100 in about 200 minutes since joining the Knicks.

You’re new here huh? It’s always interesting to see how people react to this kid’s asinine, unrealistic posts. His I know you are but what am I posts. Trust me bro, you are wasting your time with this 3rd grader. He ain’t changin’.
If he could see this, he’d quote where I said he was a “3rd grader” and reply, “5th grade!”

Excellent breakdown. Thanks
Although I would debate that ET needs the ball passed to him for a couple of reasons.

1) He is not a good shooter, so he doesn't need plays set up for him. (nor does he need to in order to help this team which you pointed out in your breakdown)
2) When he does score, he is usually creating his own shot off the dribble.

Thanks!

He's effective in the post, but that requires a set up pass, which CJ does/can not provide. His other moves which he can create himself are less effective.

OT: I just want to take a quick moment to congratulate all the Beaver's fans on their victory last night in Overtime against the Huskies. You guys won THIS one. Kudos.

Thank you, sir. It was a great win for a struggling program. Been some great matchups between the Dawgs and Beavs this year. We can raise a glass to a ducks loss against Utah tonight.

poor D-Rose, first Jimmy Buckets took over in CHI, now he goes to the team where Jimmy Buckets leads the team again

One thing I really like about our bench this year that helps keep us in games when the starters rest is the number of extra possessions they create. I meant to comment on this is the Ed vs. Shabazz thread, but never got around to it.

Ed Davis is currently 5th in the NBA in ORB%. He is the only non-starter in the top 5.

Shabazz Napier is currently 5th in the NBA in STL%. He is the only non-starter in the top 5.

We have two of the best players in the league at generating extra possessions coming off our bench. Ed is relentless on the offensive glass and Shabazz has quick, active hands and plays solid, hard-nosed defense.

With the extra possessions they generate, combined with their efficient scoring (1st and 3rd among rotation players in TS%), it's easy to see why our bench is the best it's been in years.

Throw in Collins and his defense and Connaughton and his high BBIQ and hustle, and we have four guys coming off our bench that I wouldn't hesitate to put on the floor with the game on the line.

I'd argue he should have developed his game before his knee exploded. Once you reach a certain age and a certain level of celebrity, it's hard to see yourself as something other than what made you famous. Rose became famous because he was literally the jumpiest motherfucker ever (and might I add had the coolest in game dunks in the history of the league) - it would have been in his best interest to really perfect his game before entering the league.

I think the reason Dame doesn't dunk like he used to is from Rose's example... sometimes your life's purpose is to serve as a warning for others lol!

Collins and Patty are Extra Point Players too in that they hit the open three. Combine them with two Extra Possession Players, and yeah our bench is hot shit right now! This is why we're 31-3 when Dame is a +2... he runs the starting lineup; if they do their job and hold serve with the other team's starters, our bench seems to be able to take care of the rest.

Anything more feels like a jinx, but I love our bench.

Hahahaha yuuuup... I mean hey at least he got paid handsomely to be a warning... most people like that just end up being tragic af

Looks like more Greek food in the media room. Also, wonder if they let him throw plates around the practice facility?
