Ben Simmons got another triple double, his ninth.

Is he the only guard/forward in the league who is yet to attempt a serious three-pointer? He's 0-for-7 from 3-point range but all his attempts were buzzer beater tries from halfcourt or further so it doesn't really count. BTW they shouldn't count at all, it's silly way to discourage players from taking them in order not to decrease their stats.

The Green Snake in Oakland has now gone down with injuries.
KD must be wondering why the hell he came here!
Well, San Francisco does have the world's best restaurants. Especially if you have money.

Well to put the league on notice we gotta win, so....
Thats my point son, who cares if the “league is on notice”? The players don’t care if some writer from Philly respects them. It’s all about Ws. You think a win tonight WITHOUT Harden is less important. You’ve been watching too many movies if so.

If they were tied with us for example for 2nd, these guys would be playing. Kerr learned this under Popovich. They’ll ne fine mid April.

ClownTown tweet. It’s not HIS fault they suck. Guy is an amazing player. I don’t know you or your style, but if you actually agree with this shit........

I'll take Ben Simmons any day.

How did Simmons get in the conversation? He said Giannis isn’t good enough to get his untalented team to the playoffs. Thats a horseshit tweet. He is a special player.

How does putting the league on notice have anything to do with some writer from philly? Lol. You sound delusional. I’m saying that I would prefer to beat Houston at full strength so the rest of the LEAGUE, not some writer from Philly, gotta put some ’respeck’ on it.

I swear you go so far out of your way sometimes to try and start shit with people on here that werent on this board 100 lbs ago.

He makes a valid point though. Why does it matter if the rest of the league respects us? If we win in the playoffs, that'll gain a lot more respect than anything we do in the regular season.

You gotta admit tho that the bucks with the talent on their roster should be fighting for home court and instead they are fighting for the 8th seed. They are majorly underperforming. That’s why kidd got canned mid season.

As a fan, for a lot of reasons. Having respect around the league can be very important if you have players who value accolades and respect from their peers and colleagues. Which I think we do. And a win against the best team in the NBA, at full strength, for our 14th straight win would probably help accomplish that if we haven’t already.

It's not like I'm 100% agree with Skip. There is a lot of factors inclueded. But, I'm talking about Giannis as MVP candidate, top 5-10 player in the league as the media wants it to be. He's special, no doubt about it, but he doesnt elevate his teammates enough. That's solid team. Bledsoe, Middleton, Parker, Giannis, Maker. There isn't a lot of teams in the East with better lineup.
But still, they are struggling. Look at Wizards without Wall, Beal is just year older. I'm not saying he's better than Giannis, but even though he's a shooter, he elevates his teammates much better than Giannis. He has a lot of to improve, but I'm not going to hype him like media does the whole year.

True, it could conceivably have an impact on Dame's MVP and all-NBA candidacy, especially if he has a dominant night en route to a victory. I'll give you that.

Just picture Dame doing to Houston tonight what he did to Golden State a couple years ago...

I kind of agree with that. He is really not surrounded by bad players there. They maybe lack the second star but Bledsoe, Middleton and Parker are plenty good for a supporting cast.

Especially in the East, where IND loses Paul George and may end up with the 3rd seed. MIL should be a lot higher than they are, but Giannis is still very young and will only get better. He needs to develop a consistent outside shot. Then he will be unstoppable.

Oh my GAWD that was hilarious.

how are they fighting for 8 seed? At worst, they'll have the 8 seed. They're fighting for 7th.

Their biggest lack is 3-point shooting. They have a total of 5 players who have attempted 100 3's on the year, and those 5 have combined to average .358 from 3 on a total of 1155 attempts. By contrast, the Blazers have 7 players that are over 100 attempts, and except for ET, every one of them is averaging more than that .358 individually, and those 7 combine to average .385.

Yes, they seem to have good players, but those good players aren't necessarily all a great fit with one another. Not to mention that their coaching has left more than a little to be desired.

Definitely not fair to pin their failures on Giannis.

They don’t care about what the LEAGUE thinks man, that’s what I’m saying. I used the writer as an example is all. Dame is all about THEM, not THEY.

I don’t think disagreeing with you should be considered starting shit.

Of course you can't say it's down to Giannis, he has been helping out a lot but I often feel that they are too reliant on him. When the chips are down their main tactics seem to be throw the ball to Giannis and have him go to the rim. It may work against weaker teams or when the rest of the team is on fire during the game but it's not enough in a series of 7 against any good team.

I don't know how Snell has become so useless almost overnight. He looked like he was developing into a decent rotation player earlier this season but whenever I have seen him lately he has been awful.

If Parker becomes who he is supposed to become they will find it much easier to build around Giannis.

He said it on draft day right after his son got drafted. I remember it very vividly, because I wanted to laugh at him when it inevitably happened.

Oh, that's different. I thought you meant pundits and fans were predicting they would make the playoffs this year. Papa Ball Sack should be disregarded whenever and wherever possible. He makes KingSpeed sound like the voice of reason.

I wonder where IT goes in the Summer. Funny how he thought he was sure to get a max deal in 2018 and now it's not even a given that anybody with use a MLE to acquire him. How times change.
