Sixers are a legit team. Great comeback against Hornets at home last night. The excitement around the team fight now might help them lure big free agents (LeBron I am talking about you).

The chemistry they have between Embiid, Simmons and Saric is great.
I'd love to see LeBron go there, if anywhere.

Looks like Cleveland is losing tonight. That means, if we win tonight, we will have the 5th best record in the NBA. How the fuck did that happen??? Seemed like a rough season for us a month ago and now we're 5th in the entire league????

I said this at the deadline...

The Cavs defense isn't better than before.

Every NBA ("Expert") analyst would've argued with me. "They're younger and more athletic!" they would've said.

126 points given up to a tired Denver team (It's a "Schedule Alert" game) in Cleveland.

Hood and Clarkson can't defend. I don't know what they were thinking... Hill is about as good of a defender as Crowder..

They're trash. Might end up without home court advantage in the first round.

Go figure. I thought the Pistons would make a playoff push. Things don't look good for them right now.

No one helping the Blazers, looks like every team out west are winning. Just Win Blazers!

You might be right. We'll see. Will be interesting to see how the team looks with Love though and you can't discount LeBron in the playoffs. After all, he took Larry Hughes and Boobie Gibson to the NBA Finals in 2007 and he's playing better now than he did then. Which is crazy. We'll see. Funny that an awful Cleveland team has the same record as a streaking Blazers team. Different expectations. But really, Cleveland is living off a 18 wins in 19 games stretch from earlier in the season. Other than that, they ARE pretty bad.

Spurs playing without Aldridge but Pau Gasol is back. Cmon Lakers. Get focused!!

I think the Cavs would legitimately miss the playoffs in the West. They’re really bad.

Love isn't going to make their defense better though, and their defense is horrible. I honestly expect them to lose in the first round if they keep playing defense this poorly.

If Portland has gotten off to the start Cleveland did, and then had a recent stretch like Cleveland had, people here would be saying we're playing horrible. However, Cleveland's standards are higher.. They have LeBron James and have been to 3 straight Finals. They shouldn't be looked in the same light as us, and even if they were it'd be the same.

Those LeBron teams could play at least some resemblance of defense. Thompson has fallen off a cliff.. and if he doesn't play they have to go too small and they don't have a rim protector and they struggle to rebound. They didn't fix the imbalance at the deadline. They needed another big man. Should've looked at Dwight Howard and Marvin Williams. They would be much, much better with those guys in the frontcourt with a guy like Courtney Lee at SG instead of what they have now.

Wasn't Cleveland's D awful late in the season last year too though? And then when the playoffs started, they went to Finals pretty easily.

It wasn't anywhere near this bad, and there whole roster had loads of playoff experience.

Go figure. I thought the Pistons would make a playoff push. Things don't look good for them right now.

A team with two good big men and a bunch of average and bad backcourt players was never going to work. It was reminiscent of what Pelicans did with Davis and Cousins except both of them are much better than Griffin and Drummond are, and the backcourt of Rondo, Moore and Holiday is miles better than anything Pistons have to offer.

They have shot themselves in the foot with that Griffin trade. Zero flexibility going forward and I doubt anyone would really offer them much for Blake anymore.

Shit, send them Nurk and a second for Drummond:)Let’s help them out.

I just discovered this site. The articles are long and dateless, but amusing and full of links. Ostensibly about the Bucks, most of each article is applicable to all NBA fans.

Each article starts with a Bucks deficiency, mentions many players the Bucks could acquire, and devolves into chaos making novel, amusing comparisons of NBA players. There's only writer. He uses a lot of words, but his style is engaging. Some national site should hire him. Says his name is J.D. Mo.

Nah. You cam find them if you want. But compare it to the last 2 months or so.
What I found is that the last few weeks they gave up an average of 114 ppg and finished 22nd in the league in defense for the whole season. Is that bad?
