Wes isn't playing. Dirk is shooting well but I imagine if it gets close, he'll be yanked like he was last game.

Just saying--watch out for Denver. Looking at their schedule, they're probably favored to win their next 7 (although two of those are against the suddenly dangerous Lakers, so that's something). Nuggets could easily be up in the top 4 by St Patty's Day.

Interesting. Denver, like Minnesota, have a hump to get over and they didn't get it done last year. They don't have a leader like we have in Dame or they even had in Jameer Nelson to hold things together. I truly believe the final four is Houston, GS, Portland, and New Orleans. We'll see though.

Dirk putting on a show for fans while team makes sure they lose.

Looking at New Orleans schedule, I don't see them losing for awhile unless Davis gets hurt.

True, but they probably have the best balanced team in the west playoff race, with Wilson Chandler their worst starter, and Barton, Lyles, and Plumlee all playing above-average off their bench. They're not necessarily great at anything, but they're pretty good at most everything.

If they win in LA on Tuesday, they're favored to win every game until visiting SA on 3/15, but they should lose probably 5 of 7 after that point.

Wow Indiana. They may move to 3 seed soon too. Way to go Nate.

Portland’s margin of victory since the ASG is 11.0; I wish I could calculate our Strength Of Schedule for that time too because we might be the hottest team in the NBA right now.

Should we get fired up? Dallas on 14-0 run and they, esp Dirk, look really fired up. Is tanking on the way or will they actually win?? Go Mavs?

Indiana is the Portland of the East.

What I found is that the last few weeks they gave up an average of 114 ppg and finished 22nd in the league in defense for the whole season. Is that bad?
And what about since the trade deadline?

Well, there goes Dallas' hope of a comeback.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dirk's emotional demonstrations were an act to keep Silver happy. He might be enjoying this deception.

The Bucks are a HORRIBLE defensive team. If they would even be average in that area I could see them as a top 3 east squad.

Dirk probably has zero investment in tanking this late in his career. He probably legitimately wants to play decent basketball in his last years in the league. Tanking won't pay any dividends for the Mavs while he is an active player. I'd be pissed too wasting my last years pretending to care.

How will you want Dame to handle it when it gets to this phase of his career?

That Bucks team was tight when they had Ray Allen, Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson and Sam Cassell.

Fuck you Dallas. You made me get my hopes up. Fuck tanking.
Everytime you do when it comes to a playoff team getting upset, it never happens unless Lonzo hits 6 threes lmao.

okay then
When you mad made that statement, Dallas was down 4 near the end of the 3rd. Dallas then lost by 17. Lmao. It was like, right after that statement, Dallas' run just completely went to shit. It's a coincidence (I think).

They had just gone on a 14-0 run. It was very exciting.
