I'm with you there. They laid an egg today, but we may need their assistance in the future. I mean, we've helped them out recently. Least they can do is return the favor.

They only have one regular season game left against the West - hosting DEN on the 27th. So, not much help for the rest of the regular season.

Depends on how you define "just below".

Records against the Western Conference:

HOU: 35-8 = .814
GSW: 30-14 = .682
MIN: 29-14 = .659
TOR: 18-10 = .643
POR: 25-15 = 625
UTA: 26-16 = .619

TOR has a much better record against Eastern Conference teams (.810) than they do against the West (.643). In the East, they are running away with the No. 1 seed. If they were in the West, they'd probably be part of the group that is fighting it out for the 3 - 6 seeds.

idk man. Geko's have looked pretty good this year.

Raptors would be well behind Warriors and Rockets in the West but over 7 games they could bear Rockets (not Warriors).

If Rockets and Raptors make it to the finals, it will be very competitive, especially as I think Rockets will have a much tougher route in the West and will be tired while I can see Raptors reaching the finals after something like 4-0, 4-1, 4-1 series.

Yes, and they are very deep. But their defense is slipping and ours is getting better.

So, which is it?

BNM

You're a little salty for no reason there bnb.

It's both.
Geko's have looked good this year, but they were useless today as they didn't knock off OKC.

Now the motto is North Over Everything. No longer claiming to be it. However being further North than Toronto doesn't sound like something that will help. A lot of NBA players don't want to be North.
you guys should bring Bosh and Carter back on the bench..

Apparently they approached VC a few seasons ago but he wanted to be a starter and play major minutes. Looks like he's trying to pad out his career stats to go for a HOF push.

Bosh is too high risk.

Celtics are not a healthy team. Pelicans can beat them today and OKC on Tuesday.

@BonesJones Did you see this about Hernangomez? Does it change your mind at all about being mad about not acquiring him?

Not at all. He's in a weird situation, just got sent to a new team with a ton of solid big men, yet the team is dysfunctional..

Sounds exactly like what Mike Malone would've said about Nurkic while Nurk was in Denver.

Amazing this Rockets team, they can all shoot 3s except Capella.

West is much better than the East.

If we beat OKC in our 4th matchup with them, we'll have to lose 5 more games than them over the rest of the season for them to get ahead of us (4 losses up + tiebreaker).

Just For Fun... what happens if you switch Capella and Nurk? Do we see a lot of Dunking for Nurk playing with the Rockets? How about Capella? Is he a better PNR player for Dame?

They are just different players. Capella is a quick jumper while Nurk isn't. At least Nurk can sometimes create his own shot. Capella pretty much has to be set up or get offensive rebounds.

Amazing how Hardens hand hurt so bad when he was trying to draw a foul, then was fine for a possession, then hurt again when he was called for a charge. Almost like he like he turn the pain on and off...
