With their win over NOP yesterday, HOU set a franchise record with 59 wins. It seems hard to believe that a team that had 17 years of Hakeem Olajuwon, plus many other great players (Moses Malone, Elvin Hayes, Calvin Murphy, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, Scottie Pippen, etc.) Has never won 60 games in a season.

Anybody know the Blazers "Golden Girls". Any stories to be told?
I guess they are going to call it quits after this season.

Houston is 39-2 when they are complete? That's like 4 loses in the fuckin season. Madness and people still doubt them.

And yet it took off shooting nights from our two best players for them, at full strength, to beat us - barely.

If people are underestimating HOU, I think they are underestimating POR, too.

I was surprised by that headline, too. But when I thought back to their championships, they either underachieved during the regular season or over-achieved in the playoffs. There's a reason why the debate rages on, regarding whether they only won because Jordan was swinging a bat, or because they are one of the all-time great teams.

Uh, Houston is 3-0 against the Blazers this season. In one of those wins they were missing Harden.....

Taurean Prince with 28 points after 3 quarters against Houston.

A warrior win will lock 2nd place for them

That can't be... I was told the 2seed was still in play !

The Warriors have 54 wins. If they beat the Jazz which it doesnt appear they will they would have 55. The most the blazers can get now is 54.

Aldridge has been unstoppable lately. Averaging 36/9 over his last five games on 60% shooting from the field. Even destroyed Gobert in one of those games for 45 in OT. Really thought he was done after last playoffs
