Luka with 100 pts in 24 hours……
Almost a record. Joker had 104 iirc.

Dame had, over a 2 game stretch, 71 and 39 points. But they weren't consecutive games. The game after he scored 71 he scored 25, but it also wasn't the next day.

Impressive by Luka.

Tho Im not saying this is the best, but it's easy to forget how insanely hot Damian could get.

Damian had 51,61, 42 in a 3 game stretch back in the bubble.

From 1-20-20 through 2-01-20 he had 61, 47, 50, 36, 48 and 51.The first 4 were not within the same 24 hour period, but the last two were. He had 99 points those two games.

Yeah he sucks…..he didn’t get 100 FAMS! Not impressed.

Clippers and Suns lost tonight. Blazers now tied with the Clippers
Blazers have a chance to beat Wolves with Edwards injured. Would give us sole possession of the 8th seed.

8th seed is a big advantage over 9th as you win either of two games and can make the playoffs. Can fight harder to play against 1 or 2 seed.

Bro, we almost lost to the Pacers.
Bro we've also beat your Lakers twice.

I mentioned in the other thread we're still an underdog. But I'd say we have a non zero chance to beat the Wolves. Helps that we aren't traveling and probably more healthy than we've been all year.

What do the Lakers have to do with what I said?

You said we could win tonight yet we almost just lost to the worst team in the league last game. We do NOT have a chance to win tonight against one of the best teams in the league.

Well I decided to look it up - fanduel has the game as +131 so that gives us 43.3% implied odds vs Wolves 56.7%

If anyone was as certain as you they could just bet on Wolves, easy money right?

Or perhaps your statement of "NOT have a chance" is flat out incorrect.

I get you have some bizarre schtick of wanting to predict Blazers failure. I guess that avoids any scenario of you having to face disappointment. Some of us instead have far less professional/personal emotions tied to the team and prefer to just have realistic positive or negative expectations.

I actually see people saying online that since this went from a defensive stop to an offensive possession that it was not a travel... That thw offensive steps don't start until you turn back around?

I'm not so sure about that...

we know the NBA is unlikely to shorten the season in any significant way because of revenue

but with an 4-division/2-conference format:

32 games = home & home against 16 teams from other conference
+ 12 games = 4 games each against 3 division rivals
+ 36 games = 3 game series against the other 12 conference opponents

80 games
I wish we could go back to playing 5 games against division rivals. A series that’s winnable one way or another.
