He was a 15 PER, 1 VORP player in PHX. That is a starter role player in the NBA. A smart one, but less than what Batum has been since 2011
We have a different definition of role player. To me, Anthony Morrow is a role player. Grant Hill is a solid starting SF in early 2010s.

Reggie Miller just said, Kyrie told him Dr. were able to reset Gordon Hayward's ankle while he was still on the court.
I thought they might have. When he was being wheeled out his foot was facing the right direction actually.

Yeah role player is a disingenuous description. He was an average player which is top 200. Maybe he wouldn’t have started on a championship team but he was decent!

Tatum: Rookie of the Year. He is so smooth and mature for his age.

I loved watching every Cavs player's special handshakes with Kyrie. It was sweet.

Kevin Durant gets a ring. Maybe Nurk, CJ, and Dame should go play for Warriors too so they can get rings. Harden and Paul too.

Super stars, stars, role players, rotation bench guys, scrubs.

Hill was a solid starter role players, which is something every team needs. He was a super star before the injury

I consider a role player to be a player with one role like three point shooting, rebounding, or defense. Ed Davis is a role player. Korver is a role player. Sefolosha is a role player.

You see guys that athletic and lanky now that are a dime a dozen. But back then he was one of a kind. If he had just been healthy he would have been one of the all time greats.

Paul as the secondary ball handler isn't going to work well. Completely minimizes his skillset.

Man Jaylen Brown had good game, even though his 3 pt shooting sucked.

That guy is gonna be a player.

Some of ya'll said he was a scrub earlier this year lol.

Rooting for all starting 5 to have Hayward'ish injuries.

All joking aside (I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone)...the Warriors are so much better than anyone in the league, they could lose Curry or Durant for the whole season and they'd still be odds on favorites.
