That's what I'm saying..... but I guess he's a Championship Vet

Well he is. He brings that to the locker room and the floor. It took a seriously good team around him to win a championship, too.

And no one doubles Westbrook, PG, or Melo either. Learn the game, then post.
I see Westbrook get the ball in the post and the second defender slides down to help and double all the time. I JUST saw PG13 get the ball on the wing and O'Quinn completely left Adams to help on him. I honestly don't know why we are arguing about this. All I said is those two guys demand a double team is all. I don't think that opinion is too far off.

There was only one All Star on that team. One superstar. Kidd was past his prime.

Understood, he would be a great final piece on a team to push them to the top. But Jinx keeps saying he makes this Suns team good and he doesn't. Because HE is on their roster makes our huge victory that much more impressive.

People slide down to help on Meyers fucking Leonard. That isn't exactly a "double."

You watch how Suns play in their next game.

I think he'd make an expensive backup.

Phoenix is terrible. Our starters are better at every position, and our bench is far superior to theirs.

What does this have to do with the two OKC players we were discussing? It isn't in teams game plans to double Meyers. The situation may arise that some dumbass might do it, but they didn't plan for it. I'm quite sure some teams prepare to play OKC and plan on throwing in help defense, sagging or a double team for sure,

Nope. The Knicks have been guarding the Thunder with single coverage.

Like what is this supposed to mean? I don't even know who they are playing or if its home or road. You post this crap, and you got a 50/50 shot right? What does this mean, because we hammered them they are going to be fired up and come out and play strong? Or have they mailed it in already? Explain.

You guys are splitting hairs and HCP is too easy to troll.

The Blazers are awesome. That's what it means.

Suns aren't that bad. They have a premier backcourt and a championship vet at center. We've struggled vs Suns. Lost to them last year. YES we should be validated for winning by FORTY EIGHT points! Why isn't Houston criticized for barely beating the awful Kings?

Because they beat who they were supposed to beat?

We only get headlines if we lose that game. Be happy about that. Don't seek validation.

How often do you see a 48 point blowout?

If the Blazers continue like this (and their preseason), they'll get a lot of attention.

Hope nobody on here takes this as me bragging, BUT having this debate on such a simple topic and my partner here just throwing out nonsense, I wanted to go to somebody that is paid to know. I just texted 2 friends that are NBA scouts, and have NOTHING to do with our team....... and asked them the simple question of, Of course it will vary by team and matchup or game situation, but do Westbrook and PG13 ever "demand a double team"?
They both basically answered the same and said HELL YEAH they do. Two of the best players in the league at creating their own shot, why wouldn't you. They both said teams go into playing them with the state of mind that they will try to guard them straight up 1 on 1, but that doesn't work too often unless you have one of the leagues better man on man defenders.

Went to the pros on this one Jinx...... just wanted to share with you what they said.

And like I said, hope nobody quits the site because of this.

And THAT is what I thought. No smart reply that makes no sense. As you were. #Crickets
