I'm going to merge this with the Around the NBA for 2 reasons:
There is no link to the blazers
and
I've seen mention of multiple teams in a way that would best fit the Around the NBA thread.
What? The Lake Show actually has some talent on that squad. Probably a 30 win team out west.
I agree with you. They don't belong in the list with the Bulls, Hawks and Magic.Pacers will surprise people I think. They have a MUCH better roster than the Bulls.
I'm not sure about this, but I kind of have the feeling that the Pacers might actually be a lot better this season than people expect. I think Myles Turner and Victor Oladipo are going to be 1 & 1A there, and are going to thrive being offensive focal points, especially with the steadying presence of Darren Collison running the point. All 3 are strong defensive players too, which will mix well with Nate's slow-down style. But they also have lots of outside shooting with those 3, plus Bogdanovic, Young, GR3, and even the rookie Leaf. And with Cory Joseph and Al Jefferson in the mix, they really have a pretty strong and experienced bench. I feel like Nate himself is probably their biggest liability, but if he can get out of his own way and let his players play to their strengths, they could remain a playoff team, despite PG13's departure.

Why are Olshey and Stotts putting together the Laker roster?Have you watched them in the preseason? They haven't been competitive at all. Absolutely zero defense.
LaMarcus it he San Antonio version of Meyers Leonard. Thin skinned.
That dead horse moves it's feet better than our perimeter defenders
What a baby. Tired of these mentally fragile stars.
LOL!"I think last year, looking at the post wasn't really what we did. It was more, let's do something else. But this year, already, it's about, 'If he runs the floor and he's ducking in, give him the ball.' So it's just more of an emphasis on those types of things."
That, in turn, means Aldridge needs to do a better job of actually running the floor. He admits to not always doing that these past two seasons.
"It was an afterthought [to get me the ball early]. But it was both [probably my fault and the team's] because I didn't feel like I would get it," Aldridge said. "So I probably didn't run the floor as hard, or I didn't seal as good. Then, they didn't look for me. Then, when we both thought about it, it was too late.
"But this year, knowing that it's going to be a point of emphasis, I'm going to run harder. I'm going to duck in harder, and they're going to look for me faster. So it's going to be better."

Ya no shit they didn't feed you the ball to dribble for 10 seconds in every possession before jacking a fadeaway 18' jumper.LOL!

They had a top 3 MVP candidate on their team who had his best season yet with the ball in his hands.
It's all about himself. No mention at all about team and doing whatever it takes to win.

Surprised a tight knit franchise like SA is OK with him mouthing off about himself and his problems to the media. Maybe it's a way to improve his trade value?
LOL!
Catching the ball while running the floor, however...I never worried about Aldridge running the floor here. That was one of his strengths.
Catching the ball while running the floor, however...
I dunno. I just recall whenever LA did happen to run a fast break he had a knack for bobbling the pass out of bounds, turning what should have been an automatic two points into a lost possession.Do power forwards do this usually?

Imagine the type of ego and lack of self awareness one must have to question the way Gregg Popovich is using you.
