Marcus Smart looks good for Boston and they are really going to need him to make a jump. If he doesn't, I don't think they win 50 games.

Baynes is another important guy for them. I'm pretty down on Boston's defense as a whole but they looked good there with both him and Horford on the floor. Not sure how much we'll see that though with how thin they are up front.

Bout to watch Ball get shit in by the Nuggets.

Lou Williams is inefficient as fuck. Over the long run, having him shoot is a bad thing. Having him defend is an even wise thing. Teodosic is starting to become overrated. Everyone always thinks European PGs will be better than they actually are (Even Sergio got some hype last off-season). Gallinari isn't very efficient either, and is a pretty bad defender as well. Beverly is one of the worst starting PGs in the West. Rivers? The definition of average.

Why do people think this team will be good? Outside of their big men, who appeared better than they are because of CP3, they don't have much going for them. How do some people think they're certainly better than us, and get "shocked" when posters think we'll do better than them?

That young Turkish kid Korkmaz is really good! Philly stocking up on all the Okafors...
Bayless can still do alley-oops!

Lakers have some talent in Randle, Ingram, Kuzma, Clarkson... Ball is an overrated SCRUB!

Add Lopez, Deng, Bogut, Pope.......they are going to be tough at home. Their 2nd unit is as good as their starters. Certainly no great players but lots of decent ones. And with the uptempo way Walton wants to play they will be in most games at home. Crunch time may be an issue for them though as they lack go to players except for maybe Lopez. But even that is a stretch.

The problem with Bogut and Lopez I am not sure if they can keep up the way they play uptempo. Both of them might not fit this team.

True, but along with Zubac they have three centers, so they only each need to each go about 4 minutes a quarter.

Are the Sacramento Kings good this year?

Will Gary Harris make the jump?

Is Kuzma a sleeper pick to win ROY?

John Collins is my sleeper pick. Atlanta is going to be amazingly bad this year. He will get a lot of chances to score. Kuzma will probably finish in the top 6 for ROY.

Ball in 21 minutes against the Nuggets put up another shitty game.
8 points
3-6 from the field
1-3 from deep
3 rebounds
4 assists
4 turnovers

Kuzma showing his play in SL wasn't a fluke though.

C'mon, you're smarter than this.

Gallo and Lou's scoring efficiency has been well above average the last two years. Hell, Gallo has been above it every year of his career. And it's HCA that would be shocking, not finishing above the Clips in the standings. Although if healthy, the talent is closer to a wash than most here would want to believe.

You're also underrating Griffin and Jordan's individual talents --both saw no change in shooting efficiency with CP on vs off the floor last year.

1. Yes. Good enough to make the playoffs easily... if they were in the East.
2. He doesn't really need to.
3. Only if everyone else is shockingly bad.

He's going to join the select group of players who score more in their rookie years in the NBA than they ever did in college. What was the deal? Enjoy frat parties too much?

Lakers for the most part draft pretty damn good. They got Jordan Clarkson late in the draft. In fact I think he’s a 2nd rounder. They got Zubak late as well. I know he isn’t great or anything but he’s solid. Then u add Nance jr as well. Now they do it again with this Kuzma Kid. Their scouting department is underrated

They are kind of like the Jazz in that way where their later picks tend to be better than their earlier first round picks.

Don't sweat it. He just posted all that because I said the Clips are going to be pretty good this season.

No, but DeArron Fox is for real.

I like Harris but Denver looks to have the same lack of any real guard play they did last year. Denver needs him to play at an all-star level if they want to compete for a decent playoff spot, and I don't think he's there yet.

Yes, I'm a Kuzma fan, kid's gunna be real good

If I'm the Lakers, I basically play nobody but the young guys and Brook Lopez this year. Glue Deng, Brewer and Bogut to the bench.

Ball/Clarkson
Pope/Hart
Ingram/Kuzma
Randle/Nance
Lopez/Zubac/Bryant

Not likely to win a ton this year, but with a year of solid development, by the end of the season that's a real attractive core to lure the top free agents this summer.
