Now I know your age bracket. I liked Billy Cunningham. Series starts tonight on TNT 8Pm EST.
My favorite was Dr. J.

lol, my age bracket is "old", but I'm a kid compared to lanny (just kidding lanny). Sixers had Wilt, Hal Greer, Chet the Jet Walker, Luke Jackson with Billy Cunningham being a young buck coming off the bench.

Damn, the Celtics without their two stars are up 1-0 in the 2nd round of the playoffs with an 8 man rotation. Simply Amazing
Missing Brown too. Stevens is the best coach in the league rn.

Completely agree...he's probably my favorite NBA coach period....he can coach any roster and probably succeed..he should get coach of the year all said and done
Stevens the next Greg Pop

Stevens is everything a New England fan wants and what the NBA would like.

For Texas, Austin is weird. They actually use at least some logic in that town.

My niece use to live there and told me that most residents there considered governor (at the time) Rick Perry to be an embarrassment.
Yes, it's extremely liberal....for Texas

Nothing to worry about, young man.

The Celtics are unbelievable, just imagine that team with Hayward and Kyrie Back. Brad Stevens should win the coach of the year.
I like Stevens A LOT, but let's not go crazy.
Horford, Brown, and Tatum drafted #3 overall.
Smart drafted #6.
Monroe drafted #7....

and this doesn't count Hayward and Kyrie.

The current Blazers, for example, have nothing like this.

Matter of fact they were trying to get both Monroe and Hayward and if they did get one or both they would be in a pretty good place also.

It's interesting, they're a team full of players that seemed like reaches at their draft position at the time, but have panned out and/or fit the system beautifully.

True, now I want to see Stotts coaching that team and let’s see if he can even win one playoff game.

Wikipedia is never a good source IMO.
Except Wikipedia isn't actually the source, just the aggregator of the data. The sources of the data are linked at the bottom of the wiki. Easier for me to post the accumulation of the info rather than multiple links.

If you are counting Monroe as #7 as a something extra he has to work with then Turner (#2), Aminu (#8), Meyers (#11) and Davis (#13) are hell of a rotation to work with.

Pre-internet, Peter Vecsey's NY Post column was THE place to get NBA news and rumors. And he was laugh out loud funny. I looked forward to it. It's sad that once the internet came out and there was many sources for NBA news, he just wasn't as necessary. I sort of miss reading newspapers. I know they're still around but the internet is just easier and there is more there.
