wow these refs must have money on Harden FT attempts and Houston...
I hate the NBA rules for fouls, it should be the one who initiates the contact. Instead it’s Lets watch Harden charge into the lane hold the guy off with one arm and get ft’s Because the guy didn’t just move out of the way completely...
Senior role player at Baylor. Went undrafted and played a couple years overseas. Nice jack of all trades bench / spot starter wing though.Where did the Jazz get Royce O'Neal? How did they end up with TWO starter-quality rookies?

I don't think he's all that goodWhere did the Jazz get Royce O'Neal? How did they end up with TWO starter-quality rookies?
Good drafting. Utah is a great story as they lose Hayward and make the 2nd round the very next season.
If they want to continue our story, they need to resign Ekpe Udoh to a $10M a year contract, sign Jeff Green to an $18M a year contract, and resign Alec Burks to an $18M a year contract.Similar to Portland's story as they lost 4 starters and made it to the 2nd round 2 years later.
O’Neale needs a 4/40 tooIf they want to continue our story, they need to resign Ekpe Udoh to a $10M a year contract, sign Jeff Green to an $18M a year contract, and resign Alec Burks to an $18M a year contract.
This made me laugh more than it should have.If they want to continue our story, they need to resign Ekpe Udoh to a $10M a year contract, sign Jeff Green to an $18M a year contract, and resign Alec Burks to an $18M a year contract.
You know what is funnier? If the Jazz gave Udoh a 2/20 this summer I’d do a backflip if we could flip Meyers for him...This made me laugh more than it should have.
not two years later. ONE year later. The Blazers made it to the 2nd round (2016) immediately after losing Aldridge, Wes, and Lopez and trading Batum in the summer of 2015.Similar to Portland's story as they lost 4 starters and made it to the 2nd round 2 years later.
Not to mention Cleveland and Boston. The NBA is as boringly predictable as in the Jordan era.Well we’ve all known for months it was going to come down to GS and Houston, so I guess It’s about time to get it started.
Was that when we played the Clippers and they lost Chris Paul AND Blake Griffin?not two years later. ONE year later. The Blazers made it to the 2nd round (2016) immediately after losing Aldridge, Wes, and Lopez and trading Batum in the summer of 2015.
Is Exum one of them? Because I think they would've just let him walk before this series but he's shown flashes. Shame he seems to have been made in the Greg Oden factory. They do have some contracts they need to make decisions on.
This was probably already answered but this is an easy one.Did you think Dame had his best season this year? You can diminish Dame all you want but the facts are this year was the 1st time in 6 seasons that Anthony Davis even won ONE playoff game. If he is so much better than Dame why has Dame made the playoffs 5 out of his 6 seasons compared to 2 for AD. After the Cousins trade people penciled them into the 8th seed and they were under .500 the rest of last season.
I'm not saying Dame is better than AD but Dame can absolutely learn from the playoffs this year and hopefully Stotts did too since it looks like he'll be back. Of course they need to get better in the playoffs but unlike AD at least Dame gets his team there almost every year.

Just curious why everyone thinks that series would have gone to the Clippers for sure if not for injuries? Was that when we played the Clippers and they lost Chris Paul AND Blake Griffin?

They got hurt in Game 4. A game in which Portland led by double digits throughout and likely would've won anyway. The series would be 2-2 at that point.
The Clippers were incredible playoff chokers. They had already blown a series before to Memphis with homecourt advantage when up 2-0. The pressure on them heading back home would have been intense and they never handled pressure well.
I'm not saying the Blazers would've won but I don't understand why people just act like it was guaranteed they'd lose.

It's just like how some like to claim that the 13 game winning streak was a fluke as well as we were the only team that played other teams that had injured players. I guess all the other teams that had a winning streak shouldn't count theirs either.
Wow - sensitive much?
Perhaps you could ask this: if the current team had played that Clippers team this year instead of the Pelicans, would we all be baying for somebody's blood?
Who denied either of those things? Who even brought up the winning streak?Sensitive? lol Why would I be sensitive to the truth? The truth is on my side. We did win the Clippers series and we did have a 13 game winning streak. Dems da facts.
Yes, those are important decisions. However, if there's any front office I would trust to get it right, it would be the Jazz. I'm going to bet they let both of them go, just because they can probably get as good/almost as good much more cheaply.Yes, Exum is one of them as his rookie contract runs out at the end of this season. Derrick Favors as well.
