Ben Simmons out indefinitely with a knee injury - good news for our Sunday matchup with the Sixers.

i expected these injuries unfortunately. too much of a ramp up in effort too quickly, after such a long break.

Looks like Ben Simmons won't be available against us on Sunday. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing to be honest.

I don’t know. They had a 3 week training camp. Not much different than a usual fall training camp.

If the Pels lose this one they will be tied with PHX and SAC for last place in the west bubble.

Bazemore just missed the most embarrassing layup ever. So glad this dude is gone.

Come on, Kings-- don't blow this. A win here for Sac would put NO effectively 3 games behind us.

NO defense in the bubble has been worse than ours all season which is really something.

I also think all the strength of schedule talk was way premature. Sac is trying very hard while teams like Philly, Dallas, Milwaukee and Lakers are resting.

Yep. New Orleans sucks and I never bought the narrative that they had some breezy schedule that they’d fly through.

Day has started well. Now no Milsap against us - liking that!

The Pelicans suck. Is there a scenario where the play in games are between us and San Antonio? Because honestly all the other teams look like crap. Phoenix looks good but they may be too far behind.

Yes, with us at 9 and Spurs at 8. But we'd have to lose a ton.

I said it a long time ago that it wasn't too logical to think that any sub .500 team coming into this bubble would be more than a game above .500 during the play-in/regular season portion. I said that with the exception of us, not because I'm a homer but because Nurk is so important to get back and Zach is a fair trade off for Ariza, especially on defense where we need the most help. That logic included NOLA even though they do have the easiest schedule. I don't think playing bad sub .500 teams who are supposedly hungrier is harder than playing actual good teams, playing the teams with more talent that have shown they no how to win is still harder but the Pels just aren't good enough to win a lot more than 50% of their games against NBA teams.

Pretty sure if the Grizz go 1-3 and the Spurs win out that would put the Spurs ahead of the Grizz. We would have to go 3-2 to be 8 instead of 9 vs the Spurs. Seems unlikely though.
