Why Denver maxed Porter Jr early is beyond me. All they had to do is wait till this summer when he’s restricted and match any offer.

They literally would be breathing a sigh of relief right now saying “thank god he’s restricted this summer”

was it to show him loyalty? Can anybody explain what the benefit was not using another year to see if his back would hold up?

This was you 2 months ago: lol
Worth every penny. This dude is a superstar imo. I told ya this when he got drafted and the last few years. In fact I was pissed Denver got him. Worth every penny. Lucky ass franchise just hitting on all their draft picks the last 5-6 years.

Quickley 6'2
Rose 6'2
Burks 6'6
Grimes 6'5
Fournier 6'7
RJ Barrett 6'6

I don't see any "lie" there
Fournier is 6’6 and Grimes is 6’4.
starters:
Burks (6’6)
Fournier (6’6)
RJ (6’6)

Bench:
Rose 6’2
Grimes 6’4
Quickley 6’2

They have 6 guards, shooting guards and small forward in the rotation.

It doesn’t take Einstein to figure out as soon as they sub out any single one of those players for their bench replacement, they’re undersized. (usually the 6’2 quickley is first… so playing 30 minutes with 6’2 instead of 5’10 isn’t exactly not playing 3 small guards. As Burks was already in the rotation. The minutes just got split between 6’2 quickley ans 6’4 grimes now)

Take a look at their top 5 minutes played last night:
Quickley
Burks
Fournier
Barrett
Randle

PS - Thibs is the one who implied Fournier and Barrett are undersized by saying that They can’t play with 3 small guards as justification for benching Kemba, implying playing with 2 small guards is fine.

Which, by the way, Quickley replaced Fournier and Grimes replaced Burks

so they were playing
6’2
6’4
6’6

they followed that with Quickly, Grimes and Burks

then Quickley, Burks, Fournier

They still are playing 3 small guards. A lot. Go look at the rotations and lineups.

Unless you think 6’2 and 6’4 suddenly aren’t undersized…

So if you can’t find the lie, maybe you should
Dig into the numbers again. Or watch the game…

Well dude I didn’t know he had this back issue

all things considered equal he’s worth it tho. The guy kills
You've been touting this guy as a star for like three seasons now and you never looked into his college career or why he was drafted so low? Shit, that's quite the lack of curiosity you've got there.

So like I said, small guards excuse is BS. Kemba just sucks.

oh. And Derrick rose will come back and then they’ll play another short mf.

lol...you do realize that Thibideoux was quoted, right?

It would be tough to play three small guards together,”

you need to explain to Thibs what the 'lie' is, not me

Dude the guy when healthy is amazing u know that

I'm at the point where I care less about this Blazer season than I have for a long long time; olshey-vision has just about killed my blazer mojo

still, I'll tune into this game in the off-chance of a Blazer win because other than Blazer wins at LA in front of Laker fans I enjoy Blazer wins in SLC in front of the Jazz fans the most. Jazz fans suck

The Jazz are one of the few radio broadcast teams that I actually enjoy if I can't get the Blazers broadcast

This Blazer team has yet to form an identity ...it's still disjointed...they can fix it but it's not happening early in this season

Who's everyone got in the Warriors vs. Suns game tonight? Preview of the Western Conference Finals?

Right now, I think the Warriors are the slightly better team, but it's close enough that I'd make the Suns the favorites in Phoenix and the Warriors the favorites in San Francisco.

I think once Klay Thompson returns and is re-integrated, the Warriors will be the clear best team in the NBA. I don't expect Thompson to be peak Klay, of course, but I think the things that will be diminished (athleticism-driven things, like one-on-one defense and pump-and-go drives) won't be too detrimental to this team. He may not be capable this season of playing big minutes limiting the other team's best perimeter player, but he's still a smart defender who can fit into the defensive system and use his size to be versatile. And his dribble-drive juice was a more recent development--in the Warriors' first two seasons of the dynasty, he wasn't much of a slasher and he still provided a ton of offensive value. Like Steph, he's great off the ball, he can hit tough contested shots and thus has a ton of gravity.

Love this guy!

So you were following him enough to be "Pissed Denver Got Him" but you didn't actually know that he had any back issues?
Wouldn't missing a season with back issues make things not considered equal? The guy ain't killing anything right now?

Warriors...number 1 defense in the league and the best team at making big runs...they're a handful for every other team in the league..

LeBron has covid
I thought it said protocols. Hopefully it's just that he was in contact with someone who might have it or something.

Whatever you call it, 'Bron has to sit out 10 days, or get 2 negative covid tests within 24 hours of each other.
