It's always a good trip if you go .500, but I'm a little disappointed myself, because we had a chance to make it an amazing trip," LaMarcus Aldridge said. "You go and beat (Orlando and Miami) and set ourselves up for a really, really good trip with some momentum coming home ... and we just let it fall flat."
The loss dropped Portland (37-29) into seventh place in the Western Conference, one and a half games ahead of eighth place Memphis with 16 games remaining. The Blazers' second-to-last game is against Memphis in the Rose Garden.
"This went from a great trip, to 'Cool, we'll take it; we split,"' Roy said. "But it will be important how we come back home. We are in a tight race now."
