They've looked the exact opposite in the two games since.

What. The. Hell.

Schitzo team.

The last two losses have been solely because of effort. It has nothing to do with strategy or schemes. We just seemed to have become content with the first two wins on the trip.

As I said last night, this team is not good enough to coast to wins.

They were probably a bit self-satisfied and probably a bit tired as well. I thought at the beginning of the trip we'd go 3-1. So, I was off by one game. No big deal.

You nailed it. Check out the excerpt from Oregonlive regarding tonights game. You don't want to overreact, but why so complacent with 2-2? Would the Spurs/Lakers/Mavs be satisfied with that? Granted, we're not playing at that level right now. But I still don't like the complacency with 2-2 at all.

It's always a good trip if you go .500, but I'm a little disappointed myself, because we had a chance to make it an amazing trip," LaMarcus Aldridge said. "You go and beat (Orlando and Miami) and set ourselves up for a really, really good trip with some momentum coming home ... and we just let it fall flat."

The loss dropped Portland (37-29) into seventh place in the Western Conference, one and a half games ahead of eighth place Memphis with 16 games remaining. The Blazers' second-to-last game is against Memphis in the Rose Garden.

"This went from a great trip, to 'Cool, we'll take it; we split,"' Roy said. "But it will be important how we come back home. We are in a tight race now."

Trying to put a positive spin on it ... maybe the team realizes falling out of the top-8 is unlikely, and no one is a better first round matchup than San Antonio, so why not falter a bit and finish in 8th?

its was disappointing for sure, but i like most people (i think) picked a 2/2 on these last games so it's not so bad imo. i think once everyone is fully settled and their roles are firmly established we can really start to push our strengths.

LMA has looked pretty tired, Roy has been slower than pouring honey in winter, and Crash is still settling in. It looks good moving forwards but we need to the consistency sorted.
