This is pretty cut and dry.

Is she potentially a hypocrite? No.

Does this diminish what happened to her? No

Was she wrong for what she did? Yes

Should she pay for what she did? Yes

At this point Is he just looking to get paid? Maybe but beside the point.

Did he enjoy it? Probably

Was he taken advantage of? Yes

Am I jealous? Yes

Her story was suspect from the start. This just further destroys her credibility.

The law does that pretty well. 17 doesn't make her a pedo in my book but I got to side with El Prez on this one. She was wrong and should have waited a year.

It varies by state. In Washington a person can have consensual sex at 16 years old with a person of any age.

Sorry counselor. That's not the case in every state.

It is in California, where this happened. Jesus fucking christ, I don't even get what you are trying to get at here.

Where this happened.

In California.

If she had sex with a 17 year old.

It was statutory rape.

This is pretty cut and dry.

Pardon me. I see I'm going to have to get detailed with you.

It's not a criminal matter, it's a PUBLICITY matter. I hope that clears things up.

Any questions, any need for even more clarification?

...yup. California is pretty clear on this type of payoff deal..."Californication"....sorry RHCP.

And on Mars, there is no age of consent, but guess what: IT DID NOT HAPPEN ON FUCKING MARS.

^^^Johnny Cochran has spoken, even though there will be no trial.

Likely not. The victim will probably not cooperate with authorities, who are looking into the matter. The damage has been done though.

According to MSN's homesite she's being cut from the show "X Factor Italy" if this abuse is confirmed.....she'll be in sex rehab now probably with Spacey and her brand just took a giant dump in the crapper....lifestyles of the rich and famous...

Sorry, Denny isn't paying me for participating in that thread.
But mags is! Just the other day you were talking about "beatin up dat pussy".....I think it was the red bull and booze thread.....who paid for that?;)

settle down tiger. Apparently you are now upset. I never said the person was innocent did I?

I said legal, not criminal. The legal document was signed so as to avoid criminal liability had this story gotten out.
Once again here are THREE of your excerpts:
1. "In California.

If she had sex with a 17 year old.

It was statutory rape.

This is pretty cut and dry."

2. "He was 17 years old which is under the age of consent. Additionally, she apparently got him drunk as well." This was in response to a post by yankeesince59 "...as far as I know, the charge is not "rape"...I'm not even sure the kid can prove "sexual assault"."

3. Again, in response to yankeesince59 "...uhhh, one more time, THE CHARGE IS NOT RAPE...in fact there have been no charges filed....and the statute of limitations for sexual assault when a weapon was not involved will probably have expired if/when any charges are filed..

...how's he going to prove that she got him drunk?...she could just as easily claim that he raped her.

...I really don't see what your point is here."

You said "She paid him off to not go to the authorities. If she had sex when he was 17, that is legally rape in the state of California"

And on Mars, there is no age of consent, but guess what: IT DID NOT HAPPEN ON FUCKING MARS.

well your statement was this: "Underaged persons cannot consent"

That was a blanket statement that was incorrect and what I corrected.. Get it? I don;t remember you being against Trump when a 13 year old came forward and said she was sexually assaulted by him or Roy Moore when he had sex with a 13 year old. Are you a hypocrite? :bgrin:

You can say the same about the Weinstein accusers prior to this while #MeToo movement. Its just hypocrisy to defend her while supporting that Me Too shit
Did it occur to you that perhaps a man raped her at some point in her life?

I don't know much about it...but I was a 17 year old teen at one point...just thought that perspective should be in play...not saying she wasn't wrong because clearly she was….I slept with a nurse once in hs….was hardly grounds for a law suit in my circumstance...I was 17....she was in her 20s...it was consensual..sure as hell didn't traumatize me
When I was about 24 I had sex with a woman who was about 35. It was great at first but it got old rather quick. My excuse is that I was on the rebound and a little bit stupid at that age.

...I lost my cherry at 15 to a woman who was 10 years my senior...thought I was in love...soon there after she moved away and I was devastated...I think I'll hire an attorney, track her down, ruin her life, and demand money to ease my "trauma" issues.

I'll bet he liked it. You don't hear him complaining.

...no, he won't complain but Sly doesn't seem to be the type to brag about his sexual conquests either...wait a minute, what am I saying? :bgrin:

Whats happened thus far was she signed a legal agreement and made a payment. There is no criminal anything. However, thats becsuse the police are unaware due to the payoff. Just like with Weinstein.
