When I was at LMU I remember UCLA students would study at our library because of the asians in the library. Super competitive...heard some would steal books to fuck up the curves on the finals.

Just yesterday night, I was in the library at my uni, and this white chick was going off about something. Then she started cussing out the people she was supposedly studying with and was thrown out. It was hilarious.

I can't study at home because I get so distracted, but studying in the library at my current university is nearly impossible because its so loud. Undergrad was a whole 'nother story. It was ideal conditions, because we had designated QUIET rooms.

The best ideas are always those which seem obvious after you hear them. like this: The difference between American and the studious Asian cultures is increased by U.S. immigration policies, which admit only people with degrees. So most Asian-American children are raised in degreed families.

That's true. There are actually some valid parts of the problems with things getting "too asian". Even some of my friends who are asian say things like that...."asian night at the bar". its a strange phenomenon.

Asians are fucking crazy when it comes to studying, especially if they're fresh off the boat. lots of the FOBs are extremely rude and talk loud, etc. there is a basis for her thoughts.
