Welcome to a brand new feature on RipCityTwo! Each month we'll be submitting the best of your questions to Coach Stotts and his coaching staff.

Have a question about the offense? defense? Post your question here and we'll forward the best ones onto the coaching staff each month. Use pictures and/or video. You might even see your question on NBA.com.

Anything that is rude, insulting and/or trollish will be deleted.

Is it more important to you to dictate (size, style, pace) to the opposition, or to use the lineup's versatility to respond to and counter what the other team is trying to do?

Would you contemplate using a frontcourt lineup of Harkless at the 4, Aminu at the 5 in certain situations?

What is the reasoning behind a 2-guard front? What are the benefits?

How difficult is it for you guys to root against your old teams Dallas and the Clippers

We all see Dame and CJ's leadership on and off the court. With so many young and talented players, who else has shown leadership qualities that maybe we don't see?

What do you think about Plumlee's new jump shot? How beneficial do you think it can be for the Blazers offense?

I think it's great to have this here Sly.....I miss those question sessions Mike Rice used to do with Orlando Williams or Sarah Hecht pregame and the question answers that Casey used to use on his old show....good to see that format here! Thanks to the organization for taking the time to answer our questions.

I was thinking this would be for more strategy and coaching related type questions.

We can do a separate Fans Ask The Questions type of Q & A w/Stotts for personal stuff later in the season.

ok then.....D league affiliate in the cards sometime in the future? Could the minor league system make some tweaks to make moving players in an out of it sort of like baseball does, improve player development? We don't seem to use it that much but we have a lot of talent on the bench

Terry, do you think your rotations will stretch to maybe 10 players throughout the season or the 9 you have used more in the past?

Explain how it works between the coaching staff and Olshey when it comes to adding new players to the roster. Do you create a wish list of players that you think would help the team or does Olshey come to you and ask your opinion on players he has in his sights? Is it your job just to coach the players you're given or do look for players that would compliment the players on our current roster?

Terry,

With the well known feeding frenzy Dame partakes in when some of the national media put out articles with opinions of him being overrated, etc., would you prefer to continue to see him be the underdog, or do you think he can continue that "Me vs The League" type of play/moxy even if he becomes a perennial all star/mvp candidate?

Terry,

You tend to be more of a player's coach and seem to work with the team as a collective rather than instill a dictatorship type of coaching style.
Having not followed your entire career, is this a style you have always had, or is this an adaptation that compliments the fact that you have a true leader in Dame that you seem to be able to trust as a coach on the floor?
IF you have ever had to rule with the thumb where was that and which style do you prefer?
