I just saw the news clip about that crazy lady who tried to kidnap some 6 year old girl in Seaside. She claimed she was protecting her, and taking her to the "King" or something, and then when her grandmother talked to her, she pushed her away.

And a by-stander came up and tried to separate her from the child.

That got me to wonder...if that had been my child, I would've stone cold decked her in the face.

Would that be considered assault and an arrestable offense?

If I had kids and somebody tried to abduct one right in front of me, I find it hard to believe any jury would ever convict me of assault for curb stomping the kidnapper.

I see this thread title, I expect the content to be something like "so I assaulted this woman today, and ..."

Insulting a woman....

Step one: Tell her she looks fat in those pants.

Step two: Tell her she has a tacky purse.

Step three: Call her "Ma'am"

Step four: If all else fails, just call her the "C" word.

Oh....

You said "assaulting" a woman. My bad.

Depends on the town/city.

Portland, you go straight to jail.

Klamath Falls, the lady goes straight to jail.

Depends on whether she's homeless or wealthy, as with all judicial actions by the state.

Either way, any decent parent drops her like a ton of bricks and no jury convicts them.

Sadly, she appears to be mentally ill, another victim of the greed of the uber-wealthy.

I didn't realize that others wealth caused mental illness. They must be stopped!

I think he means that the services that were cut during Reagans presidency, lead to the poorer help or dealing with those people with mental illnesses.

Stop trying to rationalize his madness.
