So I was thinking about it, and I don't know for certain what future draft picks the Blazers own. I know we have like 3 future 2nd rounders from Chicago for trading the pick last summer. I'm also pretty sure we have all of our future 1st and 2nd rounders too.

Can anyone spell out what we have draft-pick wise so I know while watching NCAA basketball and figuring out which players I like and hope the Blazers will draft next year.

I'm pretty happy with "hoping" to get Rudy and Batum in previous drafts (that seemed to workout).

So if anyone can spell out what we have that would be great.

Our first-rounder
Our second-rounder
Denver's second-rounder
New York's second-rounder
We also have Chicago's second-rounder in 2010.

I believe that's it.

We also have a future 2nd rounder from LAC for the Mike Taylor trade last summer too. I've searched and can't find a list...anyone know what years all those 2nd rounders are good for?

Did we do something with the other Chicago 2nd rounders? We have three future ones from trading them the rights to Omar Asik. Where did we get the Denver one from? Was NY from the Z-Bo trade?

Denver and NY came from the Asik trade.

Good deal. With four picks this year I guess we better package them and trade up, trade them for future picks, or draft and stash some good Euro players.

I didn't even know about the Mike Taylor one.. geez. One first-rounder and four second-rounders is a ton to have at our disposal. I wouldn't be surprised to see us continue to trade our second-round picks for future ones though.

It's a great strategy. Keep on stockpiling those picks. If there's no one there you want, trade them for a future pick. Perhaps you'll get lucky and someone you REALLY want will fall into your lap.
