Cronin made 0 trades in the last draft too. Grant trade came before.

Don't know anything about him. Thank goodness for the internet...

Boy his stats are rough, in a bad league no less. Major project. Reminds me a bit of Batum.

Doesn't mean no trades pending.
Commentators talking about Dame on the way out. Please no.

Also saying Rupert is a steal.

Getting sleepy. Lucia wants to hit the sack.

This is an interesting pick -- kind of feels like maybe a cheap replacement for Thybulle

6'6", 7'2" wingspan.

7th-youngest player in the draft (turned 19 years old 23 days ago).

Sounds like a great defending, terrible shooting, long, athletic dude.

Interesting.
Throwing it in Dames face

At that age, I’ll take the measurements and hope the rest follows (With the 43rd). It’s an upside pick after high floor at 23.

What's our current depth chart? We have the MLE for a center.

Dame Scoot Mays*
Ant Thybulle* Keon
Sharpe Little Murray Rubert
Grant* Watford Walker
Nurk MLE Eubanks*

* Free agents

From Hollinger's final mock (where he had the Blazers pick Prosper at 23):

(He had Murray going 29.)

A few measurements from the combine for Rayan Rupert:
  • Max Vertical: 32.5" (9th lowest in draft class)
  • Standing vertical: 27.5" (9th lowest in draft class)
  • Height w/o shoes: 6'6.0"
  • Wingspan: 7'2.0" (8th longest in draft class)
It's always weird when a seemingly athletic player isn't a big leaper.
