Jokes about homewrecking are hilarious. Got a sister?

Yes, I've never met her though. Why do you only object to crandc's good luck, maybe he has a sister comment but not to a married man saying he'd fuck a different married woman from behind and then jizz on her back?

I didn't read that post. I'm sorry. Can you link it, and then I'll be as outraged?

HCP = serius bizness

Re: At FanFest, who was that adorable dark haired man who led the players through dri

Yeah, and he meant it. Just like all of the HCP wife jokes.

HCP is simply the example, and not the point. I've no problem with his joke, but then I've no problem with crandc's joke or Kingspeed's crush. I find HCP to be humorous, even if I do not get all his jokes (being a robot and all).

There are numerous posts on this board about women who are already married and how posters on here would like to do things with them or get with them, etc. Yet Kingspeed's one thread about Bobby Medina being cute and having a crush on him gets the most negative reaction. It is.. funny.

crandc may be the most serious/outraged/aggrieved person on this board. I'm sorry if I missed the humor in her post.

So ... got a sister, hun?

HCP ... YOU MONSTER!!! Does your wife read these boards?

Anything that ridicules marriage is good. This isn't the mainstream media here. If it becomes that stodgy, the liveliest people will leave and the rest will follow. Denny knows this and runs it right.

+1

Marriage = scam.

If someone wanted to be friend's with my wife because they have a crush on them, as a husband I would be pissed regardless of sexual orientation.

Understandable. But my point is where is all this disgust by some posters (I did not see you making a post earlier in the thread expressing anything towards Kingspeed, so you do not apply) when straight men, some who are married, make it towards women, some who are also married?

Go get 'em Sebastian Express. You're the official standing-up-for-minorities-even-when-unwarranted-hall-monitor of these boards. I'd just make it easier and blame all white men, if I were you.

I said I did, and that I had not met her. Trying to be condescending will also not make me upset. :D

If you don't want to see some of the blatant racism, sexism and homophobia that happens on the board (in particular the off-topic forum), good on you. It's okay that you think such things being called out is more annoying and/or offensive than the aforementioned acts, that's good for you.

So...why should crandc be taken to task for a joke that a straight male isn't taken to task for? How was it unwarranted?

I know right. Like when you said the white population was responsible for California prop 8 being passed, even though all the stats proved the exact opposed. You keep fighting against all those OTHER racists out there.

Other threads. Sebastian was already the official hall monitor.

Re: At FanFest, who was that adorable dark haired man who led the players through dri

This thread is the sexual conservatives vs. the sexual liberals. Here is a graph of 4 kinds of liberal and conservative.

...........liberal..conservative
political.......1..............2
sexual........3..............4

There are 4 types of beliefs. You are either a 1&3, 1&4, 2&3, or 2&4.

The point is that there are many political conservatives who are sexually liberal. There are many political liberals who are sexually conservative. In this thread, sexual conservatives are the posters who feel insulted by others' freedom to ridicule marriage.

It seems the feminists (the ones who are vocal and noticed) are sexually conservative, despite being gay. That's why I call them conservatives. Some sexual conservatives delude themselves that they are on the left, but they talk identically to sexual conservatives except for being gay, and spend all their time criticizing male behavior that is on the left.

Re: At FanFest, who was that adorable dark haired man who led the players through dri

Whats ironic about where this thread is heading is that Crandc is one of the first posters on this board who is quick to call someone out if she feels they made an inappropriate sexual comment. When explained that it was a joke it usually turns into that she responds that she doesn't find those topics joking matters and there are better ways for posters to make their point.

Now that crandc says something that could be deemed offensive (if you are extremely sensitive), it gets written off as a joke. I can accept that (and figured that is what it was) I just hope some of us get the same leniency if we happen to say something offensive when making a joke.

Sometimes I think I'm typing on eggshells around here waiting for someone to pounce on me how my post was sexist or racist . . . we should all just chill and realize that most everyone on here are good people who aren't looking to offend.

Can we please steer this thread back to its original purpose? I want to meet Bob Medina. I will be at Blazers/Knicks or Blazers/Clippers or both this month. I know there are people who work with the Blazers that lurk here, perhaps even Bob himself. Please PM me.

I think this is the bottom line.
