Wife had this surgery two years ago, up and at it quickly and no pain since. She will do great.

There was lots of scarring around the disc.

They accidently nicked the sack around the spinal cord, causing some spinal fluid leakage.

Shit just got more serious.

She should be fine but she's going to have to remain completely flat for a few days now.

At least that's what they're telling me.

I'm really sorry to hear that there were complications, but I'm glad that won't cause serious long-term issues. My best to her.

Make sure she does stay flat. You can get nasty headaches from spinal fluid leakage.

Is she staying in the hospital a few days? Easier to stay flat that way.

Wishing all GOOD Karma for your wife!!!

Best wishes to her (and you), it sounds like a very unpleasant experience.

The passenger seat reclined enough to make it bearable.

don't you mean doggable?

anyway, you'll be busy nursing your better half so we plan on rioting at S2 while you're distracted. We're going to make CC cry...when the dogs away, the rats go apeshit...:)

tell you wife we're all pulling for a quick recovery and wish her well

We home.

Long fucking day.

Now, I know she has to lie flat, but you're going to have to control yourself. She needs rest.

If you feel the need to punch me over that comment, I understand. I'm not going to let you, but I totally get it.

3 out of 7 of my immediate family have had some sort of back surgery over the years. I hope Mrs. SPD recovers as smoothly as they did. Two suggestions:

1. Give her a bell so she can get your attention when she needs something.
2. Get video of her acting really silly when she's hopped up on the pain pills. She'll love it!

You left off no. 3. Be prepared to hear that damn bell ringing constantly.
