Who cares if they are pushing to teach creationism. Its a world view held on to by most of the world, they should be aware of it. Not in science though, but it should be in some sort of historical curriculum.
well that's the thing. they want it taught as science as an alternative to evolution. that may not reflect your views, but it is one of the primary reasons atheists feel like they have to be vocal.
What is their environmental agenda specifically? You seem to be purposefully vague here.
not worth the effort of getting into specifics, but generally speaking it's humans first environment second priority type things, such as hunting-oriented lobbying, drilling in ANWR etc.
And people who don't believe in a higher deity ARE irrelevant. They are fringe people with a fringe agenda. So go ahead and advertise!
1.5 billion people is a hell of a fringe.
