Angel McCoughtry scored 21 points, Erika DeSouza had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and the Atlanta Dream stayed undefeated with an 86-77 victory over the Liberty at Madison Square Garden. After the Liberty tied the score at 67-67, Iziane Castro Marques scored 9 of her 13 points in the final five and a half minutes for Atlanta (4-0), off to the best start in its three-year history. Cappie Pondexter had 21 points to lead the Liberty (1-2).
