I am so tired of seeing our guys hit. Happ got Granderson and now Cano. Somebody has to hit the dirt for Toronto at the very least.

I agree but with good old boy andy on the mound the chances are slim and none, CC and nova are only 2 starters that you might get that response from. The other thought is toronto blows so why engage in a possible beanball war with a team that doesnt give a shit and has nothing to lose.

The only Yankee to ever do anything in recent memory was Clemens. There comes a time when you have to protect your players instead of just talking about it.

Exactly. Good old fashion hardball.

With the way things have gone this season chances are good Cano has a broken bone and his season is over. Just be prepared for the worst.

When ball hit his hand it sounded like it hit a bat. All bone so if not broken canos hand is made of steel

Looks like Tampa and Oakland will be victorious this evening so the Yankees will gain no ground.

Tampa actually lost along with Baltimore and the Indians so the Yankees gained a game back and are 3.5 out of a playoff spot.

Remember when Nova came up, in one of his early starts against Toronto he was not afraid to give Joey Batista some chin music.

mess, standings i saw has yanks 4.5 out WC , oakland won?

You're right. The reality is this. If the Rays and A's play .500 the rest of the way the Yankees need to go 20-10 to tie. Anything above .500 ball shows us what the Yankees are up against.
