...LHed, he's strictly a "short RF front porch" mentality hitter...and the shift simply tears his ass up.



...the occasional LHed HR is nice but how many times has he failed when a simple base hit when have sufficed?

I think except for perhaps specific matchup situations he should be batting from the right side most of the time. He has fallen to the point of being a .230 hitter so it would be the best thing for him.

...meh, last year Mo had twice as many blown saves as Robertson has. Last August Mo blew 3 consecutive saves in and also blew 2 consecutive save chances in September.
...fwiw, I think Betances will be the closer next year. Even if the Yanx retain Robertson next year, I think he and Betances may switch roles.
