I just knew Marchard comparing McCarthy to Key's start in '93 was a jinx.

maybe i'm just not watchin closely enough but how ichiro isn't stealing is beyond my understanding of this game..... and that wasn't a strike but too close to not swing at

Are you really now that hard up to be right that your actually claiming that theres a degree in questioning one's actions now. Holy shit if this isn't grasping at straws I don't know what it. But just to close this out because you're making it really ridiculous now, I just want to be sure I understand this. You humorously justified his batting in the middle of the order because he hit well against Shields. And you intelligently based this (going into last nights game) on only 11 career at bats. So I questioned it arguing that no other manager would have a 165 hitter hitting as high as 5th (but I'll gladly give you time to find me one or two).

But i questioned it & you told me I was wrong. Steve (Hammer) also questioned it so I guess he was also wrong. Michael Kay questioned it, he was wrong. Ken Singleton questioned it & he was wrong. Seems to me like everyone else is wrong except.........................................................you. Comic relief at its finest.
 
On a serious note, Alright Ells, cuts the lead in half.
 
Last two weeks Jeter seems to be having a problem getting any kind of lift on the ball. Which is why I'm hoping they keep Ellsbury in the lead off spot. With Gardner basically becoming a statue whenever he reaches 1st Jeter has been hitting into to many DPs.

...and yes, when you get right down to it, all of those people including yourself were wrong....sorry this upsets you so much.

Upsets me? don't flatter yourself. On the contrary I find your ongoing need to be right all the time quite amusing. As I've no doubt others do also.

Now about tonight's game. McCarthy continues to impress. Plenty of time left.

Kinsler was a great pick up by the Tigers. I wish we would have gone after him.
