...hell no, and did you notice the whole left side open because of the shift?...No one can convince me that a professional hitter can't easily bunt or slap the ball the opposite way...it would have given the Yanx runners on 1st and 2nd with nobody out. The shift will be with us until the players decide to bust it up bunting/slapping or managers ordering them to.

If an entire side of the infield is open because of a shift I would absolutely bunt every time. They're handing you what has to be a better percentage chance at a hit as you attempt the bunt as opposed to swinging away.

I agree, even if I'm a 30+ hr hitter, you give me a free hit & I'm taking it.
 
All that nice pitching, 5 extra base hits and now we have to look at Daly, Jesus Christ. Baltimore beat the hell out of the Blue Jays, Yankees need this game.
 
In the last 2 1/3 innings the Tigers have used 2 pitchers. The Yankees have used 5. Is this what they call.....OVER- managing?
