VERLANDER 10-9 4.66ERA VS CAPUANO 1-2 4.50ERA

Gonna have to hope the offense can light up Verlander early and often. Kuroda actually pitched a better game than BMac and the Yankees ended up with a loss. I am still pi@@ed that the Yankees could not solve Chambermaid and Nathan last night.

And the starting line up for Y O U R NY Yankees.......

Gardner
Jeter
Ellsbury
Teixeira (a 230 clean up hitter WTF?)
Beltran
McCann
Headley
Drew
Prado

same time same bat channel...... losin, lifeless baseball.... please consider bringin a coach in with some balls

OMG tex hit 1 off his foot, will be out for '15 & '16

I'm beginning to think that if you were a catcher you automatically are a candidate to become a manager. I just checked out the Detroit Manager Brad Ausmus because he looks like a kid (actually he's 45) & I was curious who he was. He played 18 seasons (only 3 with the tigers) and was a career 250 hitter. Nothing special & nothing stands out. Much like the manager in the other dugout.

Headley ties it up 1-1 with a blast to right. Another tight pitching matchup in the Bronx.

rick, i know some on here think i loathe #28, i don't, i just don't think he is mature enough to be the yankee skipper .... i mean just the fact that he changed his # to 28 from 27, what is that???? he needs to channel that into his players!! anyway , the great whitey herzog said, a great coach, which we realize girardi is not, he may get 6 wins a year, i totally believe that, i know its the players that have to execute, but you need a coach who can lite a fire.... how many wins can you actually say came from joe during the course of a year?

and another thing, the only compliment i hear yankee announcers give girardi is how he manages the bullpen, last few losses came when we had leads fairly late in game, he went to bull pen and the result were losses ...

In the last 3 seasons 2012, 2013 & 2014 Mark Teixeira is hitting a combined 235 while missing 215 total games. And we've got 2 more years of this shit.

If we had a bullpen similar to the 96-04 campaign, we'd not be having this discussion.....

Old school vs New.....there is a common ground....

Fundamentals-Discipline (to also execute the fundamentals over and over and over) and Teamwork, are the 3 factors of any Sports Team or Corporate Success. Ask Lombardi or Iaccoca....they both said as much.

In today's game of prima over paid donna's, the same applies but with a twist:

Fundamentals, Self-Discipline-Teamwork......Discipline is necessary until a Mgr. gets his troops in order to execute Self-Discipline.....then the show runs itself, and all ya' gotta do is sit back n watch......

BTW- Only in this new generation, or so, have we seen these types of prima donna's, not talking about the Yanx, but MLB in general.

In days past, you would NEVER see Mays, McCovey, Mick, Maris, Koufax, Drysdale, F'Kn off in ST, let alone during the year.

Chill out please.......!!! I'd like to enjoy the game....!!!

Teixeira is f'king useless. I'm so tired of him swinging for the fences every time he's up.

I'm sorry to keep saying it but I 100% believe Tex's success in his career was the product of PEDs. With the sport being cleaned up you see pitching dominating right now. With Teixeira we have seen falling overall numbers year after year and his body breaking down.

Nice job by Capuano. Hopefully they get the third out for him because he deserves it.

Honestly I would NOT be Surprised...if he juiced, yet I can neither prove it or disprove it,..... yet who has been tested positive pctg. wise, vs those who used PEDS.....I would guess maybe (grasping for numbers) maybe 1-2% tested positive, the others masked....?

Props to Cap 1 run on 5 hits in 7 innings. Whoever Joe's bringing in better be good enough to bail this kid out. I certainly don't want to see a repeat of last night where 6 pitchers were used over the last 3-4 innings.

The offense needs to help this team out for once. Last night ended up being 7 innings of nothing at the plate after the Prado homer.

There you go McCann. That's a big homer even though he's as feast or famine as Tex is.

This game is on its way of being the 17th straight game that will be decided by 2 runs or less. Where we've gone 9-7

Imagine if this team got a little more offense this season. They would be right there with Baltimore.

I gotta feeling we will see an entirely different (hopefully-saying my prayers) Mc2, [MC-squared] next year. Thinking he will dedicate himself to off season hard work, to improve his B'Avg....

Mc2 was outstanding a backstop with a bat in 06-011.....I wanna' believe...!!!

I agree with you. I'm thinking McCann will be much better at the plate next year.

late in game what the fook is drew playin a position he is not familiar with, may not be girardi's fault, but it always seems to find its way!!!!!!!!

#7 partied his azz off every day of week and thrice on sunday

Oh this is great. That's what happens when you put a guy who's NEVER played the position at 2nd base. 2 errors on one play.
