late in game what the fook is drew playin a position he is not familiar with, may not be girardi's fault, but it always seems to find its way!!!!!!!!

Yeah, why isn't Cano there?

Oh this is great. That's what happens when you put a guy who's NEVER played the position at 2nd base. 2 errors on one play.

Not for nothing but it was an easy ground ball. Anyone there should've come up with that if they're wearing a glove in MLB.

Stop f'king around Joe, if you have to bring in Betances do it.

agree brother!!!! but there's 1 name in there, my eyes kinda roll around....

Thank You, Pasta-

Which one, Mick with this drinking and hungover appearances????
Hey, he still performed, LOL, just like Max McGee, 1966-7 Super Bowl I.....

Max appeared in but 12 games in 66-67 season, netting only 4 catches & 91 total yards, the ENTIRE season. Yet- went out got drunk on his ass, the night prior to the SB, stayed out til the sun came up. Appeared on the Tundra on time, hungover, yet caught 7 passes, for 138 yds. and 2 TDs......(see *** below)

Yet, with Mick or McGee, you never saw them f'k off on the field, the sacred diamond, only late night after games......

Personally when I was a kid, I was taught a BB diamond is as sacred as getting Holy Communion.....I still feel the same way......!

***The next morning, extremely hungover, Max told starting receiver Boyd Dowler, "I hope you don't get hurt. I'm not in very good shape," alluding to his hangover. Dowler went down with a separated shoulder on the Packers' second drive of the game, and McGee, who had to borrow a teammate's helmet because he had not brought his own out of the locker room, was put into the game. A few plays later, McGee made a one-handed reception of a pass from Bart Starr, took off past Chiefs defender Fred Williamson and ran 37 yards to score the first touchdown in Super Bowl history. By the end of the game, McGee had recorded seven receptions for 138 yards and two touchdowns, assisting Green Bay to a 35-10 victory.

Another run would be nice. I want this game.

Yeah, why isn't Cano there?

Who's Cano.....

Honestly, I hate to say it, I miss Cano this year, BUT, I do believe the Brass made a big mistake allowing Cano to go, yet given the circumstances, I think he wouldn't of stayed on if the Yanx offered him Long Island........!

I have no interest in this team giving out anymore contracts like that so I don't fault them on the Cano front. Unless it's a guy like Trout that you know you want in your uniform forever the ten years deals are killers.

The Yankees offered him a great package. 7 years was plenty. So for that, I don't miss him.

this win will make up for last nite loss... lets do it... c'mon TEX lets go Portugal

I always thought last year less years but more money per year on a shorter term. If that wasn't good enough I agree you cannot give a 30 year old a ten year dral at crazy money.

Tex making me want to crush his face slightly less.

Looks safe to me. That throw to nobody at first was pretty funny.

Oh shit Tex has a boo-boo on his hand, 4-6 weeks AT LEAST!

I humbly agree, I'd not of offered Cano more than 7 years, MLB is just beginning to see the ramifications of those whopper big buck 10 yr deals. Pujols, Hamilton, A-Roid, Cano....sooner or later those guys fell/fall on their faces, less Cano, just give him a few years, and he too will hang himself with his own rope....:smiley-hang::smiley-hang::smiley-hang:

Maybe if he was offered the Empire St. Bldg, or 30 Rock, in lieu of Long Island, he might of stayed....yet he too is/was replaceable....
Just sayin' I wish we had his bat in the lineup.....to hell with his attitude, and snub of the Yanx....

Still wish the Yanx could of landed Kinsler.....!!! Now Ian would of made a worthy replacement unlike Roberts.

Who says Jeter still can't get up there?

I expect nothing short of a broken finger for Tex.

a very nice win, but tomorrow means everything!!!!!

I know people will say the Yankees should've taken the first three but I would've signed up for two out of three in a second.

So in the famous words of Lou Costello........................................"Who's on first?".
