No that’s a talent issue.
Little bit of that. I think inexperience, lack of chemistry from not playing together, and coming off or playing with injuries is a bigger part of things.

When you (through necessity) put a lineup on the floor that includes Sidy and Rupert and Timelord, that puts a lot of pressure on Jrue and Jerami (or whoever the other two are on the court) to create offense, and that plays a part in things, too. Sidy and Rupert are 21 and aren't offensive-minded and don't expect to be getting shots, so they don't know where to be or how to set up defenders or where Jrue is going that will open a lane or shot for them. They're in one place, Jrue is looking somewhere that he'd expect Shae or Deni or Toumani to be. Pass goes out of bounds. Turnover.

It's a combination of things. It's frustrating, but I don't see anything right now that makes me think this is a chronic illness.

they are 18th in the NBA in record, but 30th in turnovers, so it's not really a talent issue. It's probably a 'playing-28-consecutive-games-without-a-PG' issue....although Portland's veteran talent last night, Jrue-Deni-Grant, combined for 12 of the 20 Blazer turnovers. So maybe the talent the Blazers have is better at winning games than protecting the ball
NOT having a PG on your roster for half a season is most definitely a TALENT issue son.

And then to dare to question why there are so many turnovers. That would be like starting a 6’8” center all year and continue to wonder why your team is last in blocks and rebounds. Lack of talent.

Did you guys actually think this team was good? A playoff team?

We havent been good since covid. Lmao. We have no difference makers. Its been so bad for so many years. The only hope is the new owner cleans house and MAYYYYYBE by 2032 we have a contender.

Until then, ouch. Nothing to cheer for (consistency is worth cheering for, mediocre players arent).

I think I said 31 wins? So I’m not down on em at all. I think they’ve far outplayed my expectations.

No, it's an injury issue.

Greg Oden had plenty of talent.

The fact that he only played 114 games in his career had nothing to do with his talent.

Son, if your talent is all INJURED…..it’s a TALENT issue right? Talent sittin’ on the bench ain’t talent!
