We are now going to be 5-9 against the East. Just can’t be losing these games.

Aand that's ball game.

Scottie Barnes is legit. We didn’t really have an answer for him. Oh well. Can’t win them all. I’m not going to sit here and finger point. The Blazers have hardly lost in their past like 20 games.
I'm going the other way. Trade all of them, who cares if they've overachieved this season and are all trending in the right direction.

One serious complaint though and I know there's nothing we can do about it but goddamn am I sick of watching Jerami not grab rebounds that go straight to him. Usually his offense and the rest of his defense makes up for it but no tonight.

Seeing him in person was eye opening he really looked bad tonight, his dribbling was autrocious.

Toumani was fantastic.

Otoh, these kinda games will make it near impossible to send Grant out in a trade. Defeating the purpose of hid earlier showcasing

Couple of observations from the good seats that Bobobrewski seats that he gave me last night
1. Clingan gives everything he has every minute he’s on the court he is 100% all about winning. Down side he really struggles covering outside the key. We really missed RW tonight
2. Sharpe reminds of watching Gary Payton play back in the day at OSU. He looked disinterested at times and then he’d go for 10-12 points in a span of 1-2 minutes.
3. Jrue is so flipping good, guy has a counter move for every offensive move that he has and he’s so controlled
4. YH didn't look that bad to me I can definitely see he has potential but he’s young and still figuring it out. Team doesn’t really run anything that would make his skillset standout. Give him time
5. If we trade RW and don’t get a mobile defensive center back we are going to struggle against certain teams. Last two games are great example. Bam last game exposed Clingan’s defense and the guy from Toronto just sat at 3 point line daring Clingan to come out and guard him. I can’t see how we keep both YH and Clingan and expect that center rotation to work.
5. I expected Deni to be much bigger he’s skinnier than expected.

Last comment I don’t think Toronto is better than us. Full strength we have better team. Toronto is similar to us in that they rely heavily on playing harder then their competition and are pretty athletic.

Toronto players who stood out to me
Quickly he’s pretty good pg
Grady Dick was better than I expected

Clingan set an awful tone to this game by cosplaying as Nurk. His unwillingness to go up strong and dunk a couple of times early in the game was a big reason we were playing uphill most of the night.
Watching a guy who can almost touch the rim miss over and over was tough to watch, not only miss but at times miss the rim while standing next to it, lol. That said he plays hard and to win so accept he’s not perfect.

Btw- Sharpe has to start getting pissed about getting fouled on some of those drives so he gets the attention of the refs. Maybe it’s getting a tech or two or maybe it’s Tiago getting a couple for him. He deserves more calls

Agree about Clingan; he needs to anticipate better when he might need to race out to contest the three point shooter; even Yang seems to do that better. And if a doctor says Williams can stay healthy, yes definitely need to keep him. Would need to know if he would consider re-signing here and what kind of salary he might get.
