The Iowa Energy fell to the Austin Toros 131-98 on Friday Night in Austin.
The Toros started out hot and did not look back. They led Iowa 41-24 after the first quarter.

Austin shot 53.3% from the field on the night and continued their hot shooting in the second quarter, outscoring Iowa by 11 and taking a 74-46 lead into the half.

The Energy had no answer, and were outscored 38-23 in the third quarter behind Greg Gantt and Jazz Cowan. Austin led the Energy 112-69 after three quarters.

Iowa scored 29 points in the final quarter to Austin's 19, but the Toros came away with the 131-98 victory. Austin improves to 15-24 on the year. Iowa falls to 21-15.

The Toros were led by Murray's 20 points. Cowan had 18 points and 13 rebounds. Courtney Fells also added 18 points for Austin.

Iowa was led by Washington Wizards assignee Glen Rice Jr. and Othyus Jeffers, who both finished with 16 points. Austin Freeman added 15 points off the bench.

The Energy return to Wells Fargo Arena on March 9th at 4 PM for Faith and Family Night. The game will feature a post-game concert by 7eventh Time Down.
