Very interesting that when I read this thread topic what came to my mind was 3 hillbilly crackers in a truck chasing down and killing some black kid.......man I got that wrong didn't I?

The woman? That's Kate Upton. And her boobs likely will be saving children's lives..... someday. In the mean time, they are nice to look it, don't you think?

Well, if you had really read the title, you'd had more than likely figured it to be a white guy. You might have missed the "Australian" in the title.

Besides that...... Baseball seemingly is more white and latino than anything else. There's a lot of talk as to why there aren't more blacks in baseball during these current times. So if you were going to play a current stereotype..... you played it incorrectly.

You apparently didn't know who started the thread. And you made assumptions about the races because you "did not read (too) closely."

Yeah, I dunno. Maybe it's just me. But I do find it a wee bit ironic. :lol:

See, this is the weird thing about this forum: we seem to hate each other, take pleasure in seeing each other fail in some small way, and yet we don't just go away from each other like normal people would. Why is that?

Well, actually, you're wrong (as far as my post goes).

I think crandc's original post on PapaG was complete BS and unnecesssary, and as later discovered, based on lazy reading (or lack of reading). I don't hate anyone here; it's part of why I'm pointing this out: to stick up for someone unjustly being put on blast. I still meant it light-hearted. Isn't that what the LOL emoticon is for?

So, yeah. When someone unfairly gets put on blast, I'm going to call that person out. You don't do the same? Are you a bystander? You just go about your business?
 
So blazing giants, what do you do when someone makes an error and apologizes?

What do you do when you make an error?

Or am I wrong in the main text? Is someone raising money to buy these suspects guns? Is Rush Limbaugh praising them?
 
I myself do think it is ridiculous when people point out a small part of someones point that is a mistype (or mistake) and think that automatically invalidates the persons whole (larger) point.

This actually doesn't specifically (or only?) relate to this thread. I just mean it in general.

This is a completely different story line. You have three kids that were caught right away and admitted they did it because they were bored and nobody denying anything, versus a situation where you had a fight that ended in death that was being sorted out and investigated. But I didn't make any comments on this. I didn't make any comments about the posters.....

.....except for the one that ranted and raved without really reading the article and paid no attention to the poster. All I said was I found it ironic. I find it humorous when people put someone on blast, say something when they haven't read the article, and put something like "every look a fact in the face." I'm sorry, but the irony made me laugh. Again, I thought the LOL emoticon made it clear I was being light-hearted.

Sorry your lack of reading and paying attention caused you to turn this around on me.

If crandc can't laugh at that irony, she should really learn to lighten up. I do try to laugh with people, rather than at them. I think it's better than laughing at people.

I see people called out for similar things, the difference being we laugh about it. I guess we don't laugh about it this time is because of the heavy blasting she improperly gave PapaG?

She made a mistake, corrected it and then apologized for it. I thought the rest of her post was fine. I'm not understanding how wrongly attributing a post to someone is putting them on blast?

LOL. I wasn't even blasted her. I was laughing. But now I'm being put on blast?

It's not even like she made a little mistake. She made a pretty big one, overall, IMO. She went on a lame rant about an article she clearly didn't read. And put a poster on blast that hadn't even posted in the thread.

So I found it ironic. I laughed. I laughed a little bit hard and maybe shed a tear. I thought it was funny. Sorry you guys don't see the same humor. But I hardly put her on "blast". Saying I put her on blast makes me laugh even more.

She's even not nude. And the outrage over the fair is about public bondage, humiliation and penetration, which is absolutely disgusting behavior.

Do you agree that there is a huge difference between seeing boobs and seeing a person's finger up another person's ass?
 
Firstly, there are way too many white dudes saying "put on blast" in this thread.
