Australia beat France 77-71 with Andrew Bogut scoring 20pts and Brad Newley coming of the bench and scoring 17 points on 3-of-4 three-pointers.

Yao Ming scored 21 points to give China a 63-61 win over Australia in their final exhibition game before the world championships in Japan. However, the game was largely a battle between Yao and Andrew Bogut, Bogut ended the game with scored 20 points. Bogut looks to be hitting top form after a stella performance against France.Sam Mackinnon scored 12 points, Jason Smith added 10 and Brad Newley scored eight points for Australia. The loss drops Australia's Stankovic Cup record to one win and two defeats after falling to Greece but triumphing over France.

well bogut is definatley the bright spot in aussie bball

Bogut should be the focus of the offense in MIL IMO.they should run princeton offense, they have great passing big men.Bogut=VladeCV<=WebberRedd=PejaSimmons>ChristieWilliams/Bell=BibbyKings 2007!(please excuse the retardedness of the comparisons)

Australia has produced the first upset in this years World Championships of Basketball. They beat a medal fancy in Brazil 83 to 77 on the back of some great allround play from the Aussies. Mark Worthington led the way for Australia scoring 23, while Bruton had a stella 11 point 1st quarter.
