Blues legend B. B. King, 89, is in hospice at his Las Vegas home. The prolific guitarist has released fifty albums in a career spanning over seven decades, often performing up to 300 times per year even into his 70s. King has as many as 15 children and 50 grandchildren. He also became a licensed private pilot in his spare time.

King is a member of the Blues and Rock & Roll Hall of Fames and was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2006. King is consistently ranked among the greatest Blues guitarists to ever live along with artists he influenced Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as the late Robert Johnson.

worked a bunch of his shows, he has been pretty much rolled out to the stage for years now. a few years back he had a moment and started giving his rings and watch away on stage, his handlers came out and stopped him.

B.B. King is dead.

I saw him in concert about 20 years ago. He was brilliant.

The thrill is really gone.

If Lucille needs a foster home, I'd like to volunteer

A Tip of The Cap to a Real American King.

BB's music is the hub and all other blues guitarists are spokes.
