Backyard Football

Every saturday for the past year a bunch of my friends get together...with usually a minimum 12 people to make 6 on 6 teams or more and play backyard football. We usually go to a highschool and play on their turf - using the whole field.The funnest thing ever - it gets very competitive. Basically, we try to keep the teams the same all year...we even have bowl games (corny, but withe) We got the Turkey bowl on thanks giving, the Snow bowl where we just play a big game in the snow...and a bunch of other ones. Last year we had someone record our game and edit it to look like a tv broadcast...slow motion replays and all that...it was sweet.We're in the process of making a website for our league haha.

I used to play in 10 or 12 player games in elementary in middle school...I always got in trouble for hurting guys, I was the Dick Butkus of our group. :happy0144:

If you get injured you just sit out - we dont get in trobule for hurting anyone...thats football...And Yeah for those who havent played american football - you def need to start.

Yeah, we play tackle football every day at lunch> Im usually QB on offense, or WR, and on defense I am the Free Safety. It sucked though. I dislocated my shoulder once playing it....
