it was raining all this weekend, and now it's freezing outside, so you know that's not a good combination. my entire car is iced over, and I can't even open up any of my doors right now. I hate this..

It's been pretty cold and VERY windy lately. Santa Ana winds are killing me. Alot of pipes are freezing up and bursting etc. It sucks.

I find it funny though... they are thinking about canceling classes tomorrow at UT because it's "too cold." But, even if they don't officially cancel them, I already got an email from my professor saying he's most probably canceling our class tomorrow since he doesn't feel like driving to class.

It f*cking sucks here. It's been pouring rain and ice all day. Hopefully the ice will be too much and school will be cancelled.

haha, I like how this is probably not out of the ordinary in the northeast, and I'm making a thread about it when it happens in texas.

Yeah, it's always cold here. Chicago (windy city)But, now it's snowing.

It's cold here too. When you get freeze warning in AZ....gosh, I just wish we had some snow at least in this area.

25....try 4. Its bad here. Everything cancelled. Class, basketball game, maybe Hornets game, churches, anything you can thing of. I've been in my dorm since Friday, well we played a little hockey on the fozen streets. Other than that we've all been stuck. All our cars are fozen over stuck to the groud. The whole car wraped in ice. Class is off for tomorrow. Beer is the only way I surved this terrible ice storm

Wow.. 20 with ice? You guys don't have it bad at all. Try 10 with a layer of ice then three feet of snow. That's New England. It seems whats going on there is everywhere right now. I guess people down south are just pussies, because today was 100% normal.

For the last week there has been snow and ice here in Lubbock, TX(North Texas). It's been pretty cold. The last few days its been in the 20's and today it has been in the teen's. The roads have been pretty bad with the ice. Some accidents have happened as well. Partly because the ice and partly because people from here dont have a ton of experieence driving on icy roads.

Heh, well I have school off tomorrow no matter what. I have no idea why, but I don't.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (yankshater213 @ Jan 15 2007, 07:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How cold is it?</div>It's in the mid-20's to low-30's...I lived in New York for 11 years so I'm used to cold weather, so this doesn't really bother me at all. That's why I find it funny that they are debating whether or not to cancel classes just because it's in the 30's... but whatever, I won't complain about not having class tomorrow.

You guys don't complain... it's the worst here in Winnipeg. It's dangerously cold every day. The wind chill is so bad you can freeze your skin if uncovered for maybe 5 minutes. The temperature is -40 degrees or colder every day. And I know -40 is the same in American temperature, so you have a idea.

Thank god(hopefully) they say it's going back to be warmish in a couple days.

I mean, you have to understand that the local government is like, "OMG WAIT WUT DO U PUT ON ICE AGAIN?" Then they have to figure out who is going to drive the truck and all kinds of BS like that. For some reason they have the worst foresight. Then yeah, there are the tards who don't know how to drive on ice. I haven't before, but I'm sure it's not that hard.

You're right, Justice. It's not hard at all, except if you're retarded. My parents say I suck at driving int he snow, but they actually do. I can hang the e-brake into my street in ice and snow with no problem. It's a good ole time. I can't stand people who flip out when theres a little snow on the road.

maybe people in the south are just smart, they avoid miserably cold weather whenever they can.

So, classes are officially canceled for tomorrow over here. Guess I get an extra day of "vacation."
