Everyone knows New Yorkers make the best pizza.
I say Portlanders by way of Chicago do, in my humble opinion.

Portland has the best pizza because I can live where I do and literally walk to Pizza Jerk and get amazing NY style, and walk to Via Chicago and get great Chicago style. Hell, I can get in my car and get Stark Street's olde school Vermont style cracker crust if I want. Portland pizza is the best around.

I remember a friend once telling me that The Blind Onion was tops in Portland. Dunno.

Errr...wait. They live in the Couv.

Blind Onion is passable, but not exactly my favorite. But I'm a heathen who would eat at an Abby's if I could.

American Dream pizza is fantastic
I don't mind their plain cheese, but the times we get toppings from there, it's always overloaded, for my taste.
We almost never order pizza anymore, as I prefer to make it at home.

I've never heard anyone complain about pizza toppings being overloaded..... until now, FAMS!
I'll eat my deep dish with a fork, otherwise, I think pizza should be eaten by hand, and those pieces make it impossible to do that!
