I have a really hard time listening to Maddow. My wife does sometimes when I'm not controlling the TV when there's no game on

I heard tonight when she (Maddow, not my wife) was interviewing some reporter who has written a book about trump & Fox. He claimed to regularly talk to people, back channel, at Fox news and had some interesting inside information:

that being that a big reason Fox is pushing so hard for a trump 2nd term is that management is terrified if trump loses, he and his family, along with backers, will immediately form another right wing cable channel along with other associated media avenues. It will be filled with right wing 'news' and propaganda, conspiracy shit, wild leads, and red meat for the wingnuts & rednecks. That trump and family/friends will want to quickly parlay their notoriety into a money generating media empire....and that will significantly reduce market share for Fox.

it does seem pretty credible, or at least believable, although I'd wonder if they wouldn't just try and take over Fox

There's something about Maddow that I cannot tolerate and it's not her content. It's her delivery. And I hate the way she continuously shuffles papers. My wife doesn't watch much news unless I call her into the room to witness something that leaves you agape and not in a good way.

They already have Real News Update, which is basically a propaganda piece for his administration.
